alanf0x Posted 3 June 2012 Share Posted 3 June 2012 After trawling through the recent 20+ topics, I find it quite refreshing that knowbody has any idea of who Nigel is lining up for next season! All these so called sources must be frustrated that they cant spill the beans on any deals to enhance their street-cred.... Nigel and his team seem to conduct themselves very professionally in not naming or discussing possible targets, which must prove very frustrating to the 'sources' on here. Keep up the good and quiet job you have started Nigel.

ivarti Posted 3 June 2012 Share Posted 3 June 2012 You can always look at http://norfox.net for your updates. This site is following up on all targets and have so far managed to predict the signings that have come in, the next players in line for a move to City are listed here, and this is the latest update, http://www.norfox.net/lcfc1245.htm. Look at the prediction from a while back, http://www.norfox.net/lcfc1235.htm and it makes sence. Vardy, De Laet and James were all on the list from the 13th of May

bradleyfrost97 Posted 17 June 2012 Share Posted 17 June 2012 We have already signed a defender and a midfielder. Nigel is interested in hull city winger cameron stewart but bruce has already said he will try to hang on to the young players at hull so that means he's out of the question. We have signed ritchie de laet and then also we have signed Matty James both from manchester utd. We are keeping an eye of nicky shorey (west brom) and simon church (reading). It is now just a waiting game to see if we make bids for the players. Jamie vardy has joined us from fleetwood and has said he is already loving it at leicester. Even if bruce does let cameron stewart leave hull then we will have to fight against celtic to sign him. If we try and sign for reading striker simon church then we have to fight against bolton and brighton just to get him but im sure other teams will jump in to sign him. It's come to something when we are " fighting" the likes of Bolton and Brighton to sign a player. :/
marko Posted 17 June 2012 Share Posted 17 June 2012 It's come to something when we are " fighting" the likes of Bolton and Brighton to sign a player. :/ The same Bolton who've been a Premier League team for the last 11 years, whereas our last flirtation with the elite was some 8 years ago! I'm afraid to break this to you, but we're average - very, very average. Until we have a few seasons in the top flight we'll continue to be "fighting the likes of Bolton and Brighton to sign a player".

Danno Posted 17 June 2012 Share Posted 17 June 2012 It's come to something when we are " fighting" the likes of Bolton and Brighton to sign a player. :/ We are an embarrassingly mediocre team with a bit of money. Bolton are a team who have been in the premier league for a long while. Brighton have money and have a good manager and play attractive football

marko Posted 17 June 2012 Share Posted 17 June 2012 So the £3m they paid for CMS never happened then? At what point did I say they didn't sign CMS?! They spent circa £3.5/4m in total, which is a fraction of our circa £14/15m expenditure.
