marbelladave Posted 8 June 2012 Posted 8 June 2012 Afternoon all, been away for a few weeks (business in Spain, diving in the Red Sea) and returned just in time to see the football. Having just witnessed the first half I am wondering why I bothered. It took an incompetent ref just 35 minutes to fook up what looked like a shaping up as a fairly decent game. So blatantly, purposefully wrong that it really does make you wonder if someone has an agenda. Woops, Uefa's plans go tits up as Greece score an excellent equaliser, cue another 'intervention' from the officials to make sure the 'right' team wins.

Penalty and red card correct by the distorted standards of modern football, then Greece go and miss the spot kick, good save actually. Not the greatest football but a pretty absorbing game....
