Bluefoxtim Posted 9 July 2012 Posted 9 July 2012 Never been to an away friendly and I've got my own car now. Is this the most local friendly without being 'too local'?
The Year Of The Fox Posted 17 July 2012 Posted 17 July 2012 Bought my ticket yesterday. On the terraces, how it should be! Anyone from Burton know where to park, or not to park?
Durnerz Posted 17 July 2012 Posted 17 July 2012 I follow Albion pretty regularly as I live close to Burton, don't pay to park at the ground, carry on up princess way and under the bridge, take either one of the three turning's on the left and theres plenty of safe free street parking in the stretton area which is 10mins walk from the ground.
purpleronnie Posted 17 July 2012 Posted 17 July 2012 when I went we parked opposite the ground on a small estate....easy.
brockmyster Posted 17 July 2012 Posted 17 July 2012 If you get the train pack walking boots and food supplies and maybe a tent, its quite a way!
Milton Keynes Fox Posted 19 July 2012 Posted 19 July 2012 If you get the train pack walking boots and food supplies and maybe a tent, its quite a way! 1.3 miles?
lcfc"weasel" Posted 19 July 2012 Posted 19 July 2012 Bus to Derby from Lough, then train from Derby to Burton. Became typical of me for awaydays passing through Derby now.
gazrjohnson Posted 19 July 2012 Posted 19 July 2012 Never been to an away friendly and I've got my own car now. Is this the most local friendly without being 'too local'? Contradiction!!! How can it be a local game if its not local!?
CosbehFox Posted 19 July 2012 Posted 19 July 2012 when I went we parked opposite the ground on a small estate....easy. The one with the Chinese restaurant? I parked there for League games...always space. Failing that park a little further towards the site of their old ground.
