How's your memory?

He is pretty shit (speaking as a Tory), but he's doing a much better job than Blair ever did.

How would you know, you were still being taught how to colour inside the line when Blair was in the house.

To be fair tho,Blair was shit

I'm the last person who will ever stand up for that born-again pillock - but policy for policy, I'd give him the edge over the incompetent U-turning Cummerbund & chums.

Scary thing is, if opinion polls are accurate he may well win the next election.

That's because no matter what you think of him he has that air of charisma and charm to appeal to everyone, he also could draw everyone from the left and right of politics to the centre like no other. No doubt if he wanted to he could return to power, Ed Miliband is useless and has the look and sound of man destined to never take power, Cameron isnt even a proper Conservative and is losing support by the barrel to UKIP, hell Blair could even probably do it slotting into either of the front two parties lol

If he does return I'm not sure which front bench it would worry more at the moment.....

Why use so many words when "smug cvnt" would do?

I was trying to be as diplomatic as possible, I think it was you who said a while ago what a shower of shit we have in the house at the minute and the fact this guy who took his country into two illegal wars resulting in the death of millions could probably just walk back into power pretty much sums that up.

Blair never needed to say he didn't remember because he always answered the question he wanted to have been asked, regardless of what he was actually asked.

I was actually talking about Cameron although i didnt make it clear. You are right though, Blair could easily win the election if he were elected Labour leader. Personally i think that Cameron wins the next election if Ed remains Labour leader and that labour can win the election if they ditch Ed with enough time to gain momentum before the election.

Now I know Tony Blair appeared in The Simpsons but he could have been in an episode of Family Guy too...

very good point

the 2005 Inquiries act enables ministers to practically run the show . this is a quote from Peter Cory a Canadian judge regarding the act

“

it seems to me that the proposed new Act would make a meaningful inquiry impossible. The Commissions would be working in an impossible situation. For example, the Minister, the actions of whose ministry was to be reviewed by the public inquiry would have the authority to thwart the efforts of the inquiry at every step. It really creates an intolerable Alice in Wonderland situation. There have been references in the press to an international judicial membership in the inquiry. If the new Act were to become law, I would advise all Canadian judges to decline an appointment in light of the impossible situation they would be facing. In fact, I cannot contemplate any self-respecting Canadian judge accepting an appointment to an inquiry constituted under the new proposed Act.

The fact that we're actually considering that a war criminal with the blood of over 100,000 people on his hands was a better PM than the current incumbent shows what a poor job the current mob are doing.

I actually think New Labour set the left back a generation or more in this country, so it's hardly a surprise the opposition is still fairly weak.

There's little inspiration to vote for anyone at the election in two years, no wonder apathy is on the rise.

Cameron? Charisma? He's a disgusting, slimey worm and I think most people recognize that don't they? I hated Blair but he was and is a terrific orator who nearly always knew what to say.

Cameron may have been made to look slick by contrast to Brown but Blair made him look like a greasy lightweight and I think that's generally his public image now.

I think it is a reflection of the fact that people forget quickly.

Is yours worse than Cummerbund's? Makes you wonder how he can function as Prime Minister? Aha, just realised, it probably explains why he can't.
