Good start to the season by coalville...find themselves top after 4 games, gresley also started well.

Barwell have had a decent start losing 1 out of the first 5 in the southern league.

Coalville battered Barton 5 - 0 in the FA Trophy Today ..... Well done to them :chant:

Apparently Kettering have only been able to field ten men against Bashley today. It really is the end.

Cornish club Truro City are in just as much strife, they have till Thursday to show they have a buyer or they will be thrown out of the Conference South and if they are it's very likely it will be the end for them, like Kettering Town they are in administration and have debts in 6 figures.

Yep. They'll be lucky if they make it to Christmas.

FA Cup draw made again today.

Boston get a hard draw to Altincham at home, was hoping they'd get an away draw and then a replay. I'll miss this being at Brum for LCFC.

Cambridge Luton looks one of the bigger draws made too in the last round befiore the FA cup proper.

I was at Canvey Island v Bognor Regis Town, finished 1-1. Canvey should have won it towards the end but their number 10 missed an absolute sitter at the end. A dull game that opened up towards the end of the second half, each side bossing the period that saw them attack the north end, and to be honest, not the best non-league experience I've had. Nice ground though, love to see it a bit fuller.

Attendance: 476.

Coalville have continued to do well.

I know its derbyshire but gresley is only up the road from me, I wondered why their attendances have fallen so much?, only 180 their last night, they averaged over 300 the previous season in a lower league. Prices have only gone up slightly and they've started well.

Bit strange.

Luton is awful and their fans are complete tossers, think they have a right to walk this league.

I'm doing a couple of Newport games before Xmas hopefully if I can fit it in. Hopefully do the Luton game.
