Leicesterpool Posted 4 September 2012 Posted 4 September 2012 Boro just beat Telford 3-1, well done blues! Could hear the crowd right from my back garden only live 20 minutes away from the ground!
Leicesterpool Posted 29 September 2012 Posted 29 September 2012 Well boro got a hard thought draw against Wrexham one bad thing that happened today one of my local's got smashed up by a mob. Also heard Hinckley lost in the last minute all the way at Workington!
Northants Fox 3 Posted 29 September 2012 Posted 29 September 2012 Good start to the season by coalville...find themselves top after 4 games, gresley also started well. Barwell have had a decent start losing 1 out of the first 5 in the southern league. Coalville battered Barton 5 - 0 in the FA Trophy Today ..... Well done to them
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 6 October 2012 Posted 6 October 2012 Apparently Kettering have only been able to field ten men against Bashley today. It really is the end.
Northants Fox 3 Posted 7 October 2012 Posted 7 October 2012 Apparently Kettering have only been able to field ten men against Bashley today. It really is the end. Cornish club Truro City are in just as much strife, they have till Thursday to show they have a buyer or they will be thrown out of the Conference South and if they are it's very likely it will be the end for them, like Kettering Town they are in administration and have debts in 6 figures.
Northants Fox 3 Posted 7 October 2012 Posted 7 October 2012 when will clubs learn? This is a good point, Truro have said they have 5 or 6 buyers interested but none are willing put any kind of plan forward to the Conference
Tielemans63 Posted 7 October 2012 Posted 7 October 2012 Apparently Kettering have only been able to field ten men against Bashley today. It really is the end. Yep. They'll be lucky if they make it to Christmas.
Soar Fox Posted 7 October 2012 Posted 7 October 2012 Going to watch Alfreton versus Grimbsy Tuesday night.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 8 October 2012 Posted 8 October 2012 FA Cup draw made again today. Boston get a hard draw to Altincham at home, was hoping they'd get an away draw and then a replay. I'll miss this being at Brum for LCFC. Cambridge Luton looks one of the bigger draws made too in the last round befiore the FA cup proper.
Leicesterpool Posted 10 October 2012 Posted 10 October 2012 Non League Day this saturday, whose going where?
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 13 October 2012 Posted 13 October 2012 I was at Canvey Island v Bognor Regis Town, finished 1-1. Canvey should have won it towards the end but their number 10 missed an absolute sitter at the end. A dull game that opened up towards the end of the second half, each side bossing the period that saw them attack the north end, and to be honest, not the best non-league experience I've had. Nice ground though, love to see it a bit fuller. Attendance: 476.
purpleronnie Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Coalville have continued to do well. I know its derbyshire but gresley is only up the road from me, I wondered why their attendances have fallen so much?, only 180 their last night, they averaged over 300 the previous season in a lower league. Prices have only gone up slightly and they've started well. Bit strange.
Guest MattP Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Luton is awful and their fans are complete tossers, think they have a right to walk this league. I'm doing a couple of Newport games before Xmas hopefully if I can fit it in. Hopefully do the Luton game.
Soar Fox Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Love Luton's ground. I've only been once back in 2006 1st game of the season. Don't think we will be playing them anytime soon unfortunately.
purpleronnie Posted 20 October 2012 Posted 20 October 2012 No-one will believe me but i thought coalville could get 8 or 9 today. they won 9-1 away.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 20 October 2012 Posted 20 October 2012 Damn Boston going out the cup at home. Disappointed
Fox You Forest Posted 22 October 2012 Posted 22 October 2012 No-one will believe me but i thought coalville could get 8 or 9 today. they won 9-1 away. Top scorer was away on holiday too.
Leicesterpool Posted 22 October 2012 Posted 22 October 2012 My away trip at Luton Luton's ground is one of the worst grounds i've ever visited, it was terrible. Did anyone enjoy the video?
purpleronnie Posted 22 October 2012 Posted 22 October 2012 Luton's ground is one of the worst grounds i've ever visited, it was terrible. Did anyone enjoy the video? Its one of my favourite grounds.
Daggers Posted 23 October 2012 Posted 23 October 2012 Say goodbye to Kettering, probably. Announcement by the league tomorrow morning.
purpleronnie Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 Coalville (top) lost to Lincoln (bottom) - footballs a funny old game.
