Thurmofox Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 I for one am quite optimistic about the season ahead and feel we could challenge for the title & at worst a play off spot. Also it seems that we have found a balance in the side at last just wonderd what everyone thinks?
glenny_fox Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 I am alot more confident about this season than the last, but with the level of competition in this league now it will be tough, I can see us finishing about 4th.
Fox92 Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 I am quietly optimistic also. I am more excited for the season, than I was last season and the season before. I still think Bolton, Blackburn and Wolves will challenge for the title and most of the other teams challenging for the play offs. I believe we have enough quality for to make a challenge for the play offs, and I believe we have the right manager in charge. A good start would be nice, and I think we have the ability to beat Posh and Charlton to get us underway.
Guest nathan. Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Top 2 should be the target failing that top 6 but any lower and we have failed
Tielemans63 Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 I'm optimistic too. I think Glenny is about there, I think 5th or 6th.

Carter The Boss Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 4th, with a win at Wembley Tough league but a better squad than we had last year. Teams like Forest worry me a bit, but as we know, a load of decent signings doesn't mean anything if they don't gel
The Year Of The Fox Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 We could sneak second. Wolves will win the league
tartanowl Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 In my prediction table I've got you in the top 2 with Cardiff. Blackburn, Birmingham, Bolton and Wolves in the playoffs. Millwall, Palace and Barnsley to go down. Charlton and Peterborough to stay up by a ball-hair.
BrumFox Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 not sure if anyone read the sun today (i didn't mean to, i was getting my hair cut) but Chris Kamara reckoned Leeds would finish top, Huddersfield 6th, Leicester 12th and Florist 23rd. does the man know anything about football? apologies, just seen the other thread on this
marty78 Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 1st Don't see why we should be aiming any lower at this stage, especially with the investment in the squad over the last couple of years.
Thurmofox Posted 15 August 2012 Author Posted 15 August 2012 My top 6 Blackburn Leicester Leeds Bolton Wolves Cardiff the more I look at the rest I'm not so confident.
lovelcfc Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 I don't think we have enough to finish top 2 but I think we'll finish 4th
theboxman1986 Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 I'm gonna say third behind Blackburn and Bolton In order my top 6 will be 1. Balckburn 2. Bolton 3. CITY 4. Cardiff 5. Charlton 6. Wolves I can really see wolves struggling this season but i don't know why.
fleckneymike Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 I have no idea, quite how we can predict having seen no one but us and Torquay play a competitive match is beyond me.
Filbert The Fox Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 I also agree that we have a better balanced squad this season. 2nd for me behind Bolton
Fox92 Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 posh looked really decent last night probably going to be tough opener..let's hope for a good start. No doubt they will come and attack though (could put loads of money on that), so it will be an open game where we could see a few goals (five Leicester goals, and none for Posh, hopefully). F**k knows the league season aint started yet! We know, but that's why they are called 'predictions'.
