The only problem is both your legs are broke and you're stuck in the middle of the desert without water :P

One problem with the experiment I see is that it was planned perfectly to ensure safety for those taking part. Those flying and those on the ground. Plane crashes are usually unpredictable.

I'm on the back row, I'd probably still be asleep.

All airlines will be moving first class to the back now!

I picked seat 1A and would have been spread all over the place I think.

lol

Looked as if 26a was ok

;)

There are millions of variables but one id like to know is the difference in damage if you have more leg room than normal. I was on a long haul flight to Mexico 2 years ago and it wasn't the best I'm 6ft 3. Broken legs and probably neck as it was above the head rest for some reason haha

EDIT: I shouldn't joke and obviously prey to god I'm never proved right or wrong.

'It is likely that 18D would have survived'

How do you find that out?

Seat 21A:

In seat 21A, it’s likely that you would have escaped injury in the crash impact. However, you would have been disorientated by a lack of visibility in the cabin caused by dust kicked up during the crash. This, along with dislodged ceiling panels and wiring in the aisle, may have seriously hampered your quick evacuation even though you were close to the over-wing exit.

Your seat
1A
was no longer in the main body of the aircraft after the crash – this front area of the plane broke away from the rest of the fuselage during impact. The forces during impact on the front of the plane peaked at 12g, which is 12 times the force of gravity.

Although you were seated close to the galley exits, it is highly unlikely the crew or anyone seated in your area would have survived to make their escape.
