filbertfoxy00 Posted 12 October 2012 Posted 12 October 2012 20% discount on 2012/13 Puma kits in the club shop this weekend they proudly advertise over on the OS. Yeah well, with it only being a one season lifespan kit, already 20% of the season having passed then it ain't much of a bleedin' discount is it? As a season ticket holder you already got a 10% discount at the start of the season, so now that 2012/13 is 20% completed the 20% discount that they are offering is actually a price INCREASE!
GLC Posted 12 October 2012 Posted 12 October 2012 It's called marketing, The club needs to make money some how....
davieG Posted 12 October 2012 Posted 12 October 2012 More importantly do you get 20% discount on the We Love you scarf as that has only just come out?
Guest MattP Posted 12 October 2012 Posted 12 October 2012 It's called marketing, The club needs to make money some how.... Of course. We have to have offers like this, otherwise the club's outgoings would just look ridiculous.

StanSP Posted 12 October 2012 Posted 12 October 2012 My advice to you: Never go in to business if your aim is not to make money from consumers.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 12 October 2012 Posted 12 October 2012 I bought 60 quids worth of stuff 10 days ago. Very tempted to go take it all back and get refunded then buy it all again

PAULCFC Posted 12 October 2012 Posted 12 October 2012 Get it just after Christmas, probably £20 for the shirt.....i did that last year and it was shit!Gone back to the un sponcered joma one!
Dan Posted 13 October 2012 Posted 13 October 2012 I think people who genuinely fall for Leicester City's official adverts need help.
flowwolf Posted 13 October 2012 Posted 13 October 2012 If they want to be really clever at business they should offer 25% off a new shirt when you bring your old one in to them. They can then either destroy them which takes them out of circulation or ship them out to areas of poverty around the world which gets the name around a bit and makes poor kids happy. Every ones a winner and it has a feel good factor about it. Even if they did not go with the 25% off idea it would be still good of the club to ask for donations of old shirts from the fans to send abroad any way.

You do realise that you don't have to return your shirt after the season finishes don't you? I've had this radical idea of potentially wearing a shirt again in the future... although in your business model that means the club should be paying me? I'm in!
Bettsj2 Posted 13 October 2012 Posted 13 October 2012  10 years ago when I went travelling around Asia and Australia, a kid came up to me in Bangkok trying to sell me some fake Police sunglasses. He was wearing the 3-legged fox Bukta shirt.

He was wearing the 3-legged fox Bukta shirt. It seems like a good way of getting the club extra exposure in emerging markets while getting good kudos too. (I bet they would burn the non-King Power shirts though!)
flowwolf Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 went in the shop today, more staff than customers Yes they were all round the corner paying to see our heritage
