Ric Flair Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 How is there not an active topic on this phenomenal TV series? Last night's episode was an absolute stonker and it just keeps getting better and better.
goose2010 Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 the ending last night was incredible and the bit where he sent that text. I don't know why but I just don't like Damien Lewis I find him dull and just bland as an actor how he beat Brian Cranston and Michael C Hall to win his emmy I have no idea!. Now Claire Danes on the other hand, she is an incredible actor.
steveherbe Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 Damian Lewis was EPIC in Band of Brothers. Best TV series ever.
Jon the Hat Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 Loving this. Brilliant cliffhangers. I really did not expect that ending last night, thought it would be much further into the series that they would find out!! Will be really interesting to see where it goes from here!!

But they had to do something to drag her back into it now she has returned home
Jon the Hat Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 But they had to do something to drag her back into it now she has returned home True! Wasnt expecting it in the cliffhanger last night though!
hairy Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 True! Wasnt expecting it in the cliffhanger last night though! I have next weeks to watch tonight. (US is a week before ours)
Jon the Hat Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 I have next weeks to watch tonight. (US is a week before ours) Dont tell me that. I now have to avoid reading the plot online for a week.
Bettsj2 Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 Hate to lower the tone, but does anyone think the programme would benefit from a lesbian storyline between Brody's wife and Carrie? Just a thought.
goose2010 Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 would like to see Brody's wife F off she is so annoying!
Jon the Hat Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 Hate to lower the tone, but does anyone think the programme would benefit from a lesbian storyline between Brody's wife and Carrie? Just a thought. Not sure it would benefit the storyline, but other than that hell yes. Surely Brodie will be involved with his handler / journalist lady shortly if he is left alone for now.
Ric Flair Posted 15 October 2012 Author Posted 15 October 2012 Last night's cliffhanger blew me away, but it also got me worried for Saul. Why have the bit right at the end of the 1st series with Carrie remembering Abu Nazir's son being shouted out by Brody when he was asleep if it's not going to be used as a storyline later in the series? That means that either Saul get's done over before revealing what he's seen or Saul is a mole himself. Or it could just be there to throw us as the writers seem to be brutal with the audience this series, it's immense. I usually hate Sunday nights but not right now!
Nick Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 Saul has to be a wrongun............. he's too squeaky clean........ great show.
Bettsj2 Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 Saul has to be a wrongun............. he's too squeaky clean........ great show. Plus he failed a lie detector test in the first series.
Jon the Hat Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 Plus he failed a lie detector test in the first series. Oooh I forgot about that.

I did think last night Saul is screwed. Like I said I want not expecting Brody to be revealed this early. Ep 2 of 10 or 12 seems too soon.
Simmo86 Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 Think this is where we find out Saul is a wrong un. Far too early for Brody to be outed.
Ric Flair Posted 15 October 2012 Author Posted 15 October 2012 Claire Danes is pregnant in real life, anyone smell a storyline opportunity?
Deucalion Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 Well I was expecting them to spy on Brody but Saul as a bad 'un sounds much better!
Jon the Hat Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 No spoilers please our American friends! The way I see it, Saul is either 1) Captured, 2) Killed or 3) A bad un himself. I am still thinking 1) or 3) are slightly more likely. So that probably means 2) !!!
vandamman Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 If last weeks cliffhanger is anything to go by, I doubt Brody will get outed just yet. But have to agree with the OP fantastic series and these last episodes have been some of the best, the producers seemed to have raised their game cause I thought some episodes last year were a bit stale. I have my doubts about Saul too, why has he stuck around in the CIA for all this time I don't know, which why I suspect he's in it for the long game but I like his character. However...brody just getting drafted into the Nazir coup? and then just informing him by text?! Bit of a let down but hey, its tv.
vandamman Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 One of the interesting things about Saul finding out about Brody I think and that is he is trapped with the information, there are not many people he can go to to talk about it. Which is why I think he'll sit on it for a while, then perhaps confront Brody face to face.
rico Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 Anyone else think Estes (David Harewood) is not all he seems?
glenny_fox Posted 22 October 2012 Posted 22 October 2012 Awesome program, something big has got to happen in the next couple of episodes with Brody being outed like that. At the start when he had the memory card took off him, i thought the rest of it was going to be massively dissapointing. how wrong i was.
