vandamman Posted 10 December 2012 Posted 10 December 2012 First and only showdown? After than ending I think we can assume that is not the end of that one on one. I thought that was a great cliff hanger! What happens to Saul now? Will Carrie get Nazir? At this point all the core characters could be taken out in the next show!! I repeat.. AAAARGH! I meant first and only showdown up to this point especially considering the length of the seasons, the scene between them was really played down especially considering how hell bent Carrie has been on trying to get him over the past 2 seasons. I wouldn't mind if any of the core characters do get taken out, apart from Saul. I just find it more frustrating than gripping now.
Jon the Hat Posted 12 December 2012 Posted 12 December 2012 The plot development of Brody's daughter and the VPs son must have some purpose. Likewise Jessica and Mike. Not sure how mut you get the feeling Brody will survive one way or another. I can see Carrie shooting the assassin guy and them doing a runner together.

Guest Posted 18 December 2012 Posted 18 December 2012 Not sure where you guys are up to. I just watched the 12th episode - which I guess is the last of the season. Thought this season was much better than the first. and the answer to the question is .... My guess is Quinn is the terrorist, certainly not Brody and unlikely to be Saul though it could be.
MikeyT Posted 18 December 2012 Posted 18 December 2012 Abu Nazir - dead or alive? Dead as Julius Caesar.
James. Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 Just caught up and finished season 2 a couple of nights ago. Cracking entertainment, not up there with my favourites like 24, The Wire and Breaking Bad but definitely lots of fun. One thing that has bugged me for ages though is when Saul failed the lie detector test in season 1 when they were trying to find out who gave the razor to the prisoner so he could commit suicide. Could Saul actually be a bad guy? He's the best character and I actually think it'd be a shame if he was but it would be a mental twist. Apparently premiere of season 3 will be September 29th. On to Boardwalk Empire until then!
goose2010 Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 Dont get me wrong i enjoyed homeland both seasons. BUT it didn't deserve to win so much at the golden globes, it just seems to clear up for some reason, I'm sure there is no one that watched season 2 of homeland and the latest series of breaking bad would say that homeland was better? surely not?? and that Damien Lewis is better that Brian Cranson? it just seems when these shows get political and a bit pro american they have to win these awards.
Guest Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 I prefer Homeland to Breaking bad. Then again I prefer Sherlock to all of them.

I agree. The originality, quality of acting, innovative plot and intense characterisation put Breaking Bad on a different level not just to Homeland but pretty much everything I've ever seen on TV with the possible exception of The Wire.

hairy Posted 11 September 2013 Posted 11 September 2013 So its back on the telly at the end of the month in the US but the first episode has leaked and is on a tracker near you.
MooseBreath Posted 11 September 2013 Posted 11 September 2013 Think ill wait til all the shows have aired and then watch them all in one go. I like it but not enough to watch it weekly
Ric Flair Posted 11 September 2013 Author Posted 11 September 2013 Can't wait for this to be back in the mixer, Sunday night is a great slot and I hope it continues to be aired then. Been reading on the different angle the 3rd series might go down and Brodie won't be in it as much as he's going to be keeping a low profile/on the run. As if they'll do that, he's top boy and he'll be in it bang from the off.
Jon the Hat Posted 11 September 2013 Posted 11 September 2013 Looking forward to this. Its been a hectic summer with the boy joingin the family, and I have barely watched anything more than half an hour long, and not had the chance to get into anything at all.
Uncle Albert Posted 11 September 2013 Posted 11 September 2013 I'm still waiting for Season 2 to come out on Blu Ray
Ric Flair Posted 26 September 2013 Author Posted 26 September 2013 So it's been confirmed to air on 6th October (sunday night) in England. BOSTIN
