U21s (Dev. League) v Cov Frid19th Oct @ 7pm KP

Recommended Posts

City supporters will have another chance to see some of the Club's promising youngsters in action on Friday when the Foxes Under-21s host Coventry City at King Power Stadium (7.00pm K.O.)

City's junior professionals have been in red-hot form in the Professional Development League, with their recent 2-0 win at Nottingham Forest making it five wins on the bounce in the new Under-21 division.

Seeing some of the Club's rich young talent blended with a permitted number of over-age players in need of match minutes, the PDL format has been extremely beneficial for City in the early weeks of the new season and the visit of the Sky Blues looks set to be another entertaining night's football.

It will see Steve Beaglehole's side looking for a fourth win out of four on home turf so far, having already overcome Crewe Alexandra, Leeds United and Sheffield Wednesday on their own patch.

Admission will be priced £3 for Adults and £1 for Under-18s, with accompanied Under-8s going free. Admission can be paid on the night, but tickets must be purchased from the City Fanstore before approaching the turnstiles.

Utter shite I'm afraid - outplayed in pretty much every area

Jacob Blyth - our scouting network has picked out some great finds recently but this isn't one of them

Taft - not a big fan but he did ok and that was pretty much the highlight

Attendance probably the biggest so far so it appears a cheap night out at the KP is catching on

Yeah I've seen this lad play lots of times & think he's got a bit of quality about him , he needs to be playing with better players tho , he's got a lovely left foot , he's big & strong & has an enormous throw & apparently has played for England at 3 different levels .

Seen Taft play before and he is utter average. Makes it even worse when he acts around like he's playing prem football Wrekin week out. Will be at tad embarrassing for him if he doesn't make the grade given the way he acts on twitter / out and about
