Still don't know why DF left Palace.

Me neither. He's a young manager, why the rush to jump at the first average job that comes along?

He's unlikely to pull up any trees with Palace, Ipswich or Bolton, but at least he's loved at Palace and they're currently in a play-off place. If they finish in the top 10 I suspect better jobs will be available at the end of the season.

Anyway, Davies would be a good appointment for Ipswich but I think he can do better tbh. Dyche or Phil Brown would be realistic.

Chris Hutchings has taken over, presumably to leave when he's even worse than Jewell, as per usual.

Proven right.

Exactly the sort of guy they need IMHO. Did anyone read Richie Wellens interview? It was in a couple of the nationals at the weekend. He gave the Ipswich players a bit of a slating in it - he was saying that they just don't care enough.

He'll be back with us before too long, no doubt.

He's one of many loan players, which is a difficult position to be in, unless they want to keep him permanently.

Very good appointment for Ipswich, thought McCarthy wouldn't join them as they are bottom.

Just Crystal Palace now to fill their hotseat.

Even with this appointment I can still see them going down, they look weak all other the pitch.

Depends who McCarthy sells and brings in imo. He has a record of doing well at this level, and certainly was able to persuade some quality to join Wolves (the likes of Ebanks-Blake, etc).
