It's only a few though. Every student in this thread has said that. I would never waste a pint of milk, especially on something as stupid and ridiculous as this, and I've met no-one in 2 years at uni that would do this either.

Fair enough mate, I get wound up by some students as well giving us all bad reputations, putting going out and everything before their studies but it's only a minority. Saying that I suppose it's the same in all walks of life!

First of all it is supposed to be ridiculous that is the point and as far as jokes go it is pretty harmless and affects nobody but those that decide to do it.

You know what I have seen that is more ridiculous?

People beating people up because of the colour of their skin.

People belittled and marginalised because of their gender.

People dismissing whole swathes of society because of their class or religion.

There are many more ridiculous things in this world, and someone doing something to themselves that has no effect on anyone else should be so derided when we live in a world of phone hacking, police bribery, political corruption being so hated actually is one of them.

Someone pouring milk on themselves really is the very least of our worries, hell it could even be called art, I wouldn't but I'm sure someone could, so get the fvck over it and start getting worked up over things that matter.
