AyewJoking Posted 13 December 2012 Posted 13 December 2012 When I was a nipper.......Roy's Sports in Wigston. An Aladdin's cave of all things sport. Footie boots, trainers, my first football strip, Subbuteo, snooker cues, etc, etc. All in a shop no bigger than your downstairs toilet!! I thought of Roy's too! Used to cycle down on weekends and buy subbuteo parts.
AyewJoking Posted 13 December 2012 Posted 13 December 2012 Video Box on Saffron Lane. Smelled of fags inside but I was always there, renting italia 90 for the megadrive.
ithuriel Posted 15 December 2012 Posted 15 December 2012 Another World on Silver Street, used to go in there at least once a week back in the late eighties, early ninties. Then they went all twilighty :xmasangry: and lost most of their custom and then returned to being the Forbidden Planet but it just is not the same.
