Guest Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 And set pieces. We never get anything from them. Yeah but we're much better than we were with them. Look at Morgan's header today. Throw ins we always seem to lose on attack and defence
Trumpet Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 We've definitely been really unlucky, we've hit the bar twice.. Cardiff will be happy with their performance though, a good away performance so far. Need to keep going in the second half.
Guest Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 I saw King's positioning and sighed when Bellamy scored. However, his single effort from well behind the the half way line to go the length of the field and miss by a whisker has to be applauded, as it was by NP. I haben't seen a bad performance from any of the team, bar one heart in the mouth moment from Shitbread (I kid) I don't think King has been bad but we need a strong central midfield that can defend and pass when we play with Dyer/Knocky/Marshall. Knocky has been tremendous again today. Powderpuff. Cardiff are another Millwall, Leeds.. We'll never win games like this They are nothing like Millwall or Leeds.
LCFC BEAST Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 Dyer needs to get the ball more, has the beating of his man and has put in 2 decent balls with no one there!
sphericalfox Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 Cardiff are a Prem team, and would do okay with their side if they went up. We are playing tremendously well considering the scoreline. If we come out with the same attitude we'll get something out of this game COYB!
ADK Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 Think its harsh you say King should be replaced because he messed up his defending once, he's usually very good at defending.
ealingfox Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 It can't just be bad luck. We've dominated again, hit the woodwork multiple times, missed chances. Why can't we just fvcking finish?
Guest Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 BBC reckon 11 shots to 2. Sounds about what I've seen. And I don't want to hear people critisize Vardy, he's playing very well.
dmayne7 Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 We've definitely been really unlucky, we've hit the bar twice.. Cardiff will be happy with their performance though, a good away performance so far. Need to keep going in the second half. We're always unlucky. "Luck balances itself" is the most ridiculous saying in football. Granted we need to cut out sloppy errors at both ends but if we'd been getting the luck we deserve then we'd probably be flying high at the top
Guest shearfox Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 One down Im still trying to get over it, can we hit the net instead of the woodwork please...
Guest Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 Think its harsh you say King should be replaced because he messed up his defending once, he's usually very good at defending. Well you're a bit of a contratwat. but that isn't what I said. I think he's a very good player but with two up front and two wide men we need more strength in the centre of midfield.
Oxfordfox83 Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 Powderpuff. Cardiff are another Millwall, Leeds.. We'll never win games like this Are you actually here? Just talking utter crap. All over them for 40 minutes, but lack on concentration has done us. We've had some great chances, but lacked a bit of finesse and luck. Agree our throws and free kicks need working on. Half the time from a FK in their half it's with Kasper two passes later. Bit of urgency and we'll have em second half...
ADK Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 I do think we miss Waghorn, Vardy comes across as a poor mans Waghorn.
Guest Col city fan Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 We have simply conceded too many goals, right since the start of the season, from the edge of the penalty area. It happened at Blackburn, it happened at Charlton. It's clear to see and, despite all of our possession and chances, we MUST defend this area better. This isn't the fault of the back four, its the midfield not getting back quickly enough. I think they are there for the taking though. Cardiff are nothing special.
Leicester_Numan Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 OMG! There's another Pearson out thread already. We could have been 4 or 5 up for gods sake. It's not like we're playing badly
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 Dyer needs to get the ball more, has the beating of his man and has put in 2 decent balls with no one there! four in the box we had four in the peno and his final ball as 5HIT
ealingfox Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 OMG! There's another Pearson out thread already. We could have been 4 or 5 up for gods sake. It's not like we're playing badly But we aren't. We're a goal down and I can't see us getting anything from this.
Guest shearfox Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 Pearson out threads are complete bull, we our going to finish in the playoffs this season, something we didn't do until we had Pearson. The football we our playing is class and I'm proud to be a City fan...
MikeyT Posted 22 December 2012 Author Posted 22 December 2012 lookout woodwork.......here comes Waggy!! Think it's already had enough today. The net needs it now.
