MANFACE Posted 4 February 2013 Posted 4 February 2013 Fairly long interview with Andy Gray and Richard Keys, talking about football and football related subjects. Correct me if I'm wrong...I didn't hear Brian Little mention or utter the word "Leicester" ? Was someone doing his missus ? He kept on about heartbreak.

Or so I'm told.
Webbo Posted 4 February 2013 Posted 4 February 2013 Phil Gee did his missus didn't he? Or so I'm told. It'd be the only time he did score.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 4 February 2013 Posted 4 February 2013 It was on Talksport and therefore irrelevant. On a side note, why is the station called TalkSPORT? This suggests they discuss other sports apart from football.
jonthefox Posted 4 February 2013 Posted 4 February 2013 Any link? What?. To phil Gee doing mrs little.
cuddly ken Posted 5 February 2013 Posted 5 February 2013 I liked Brian Little, thought he did a good job but at the end of the day he was/is 100% Villa so you can understand why he went to Villa Park. Life's too short to hold grudges so a free cuddle award to Brian from me.
flowwolf Posted 5 February 2013 Posted 5 February 2013 A treasonable litle cvnt who will never be forgiven by most fans at this club. He probably felt too ashamed to mention his time at Leicester and so he should be. The dirty little rat.

Little turned us around and took us into the premier league.
flowwolf Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 Sounds like you are confusing him with his successor Mark McGhee. Little turned us around and took us into the premier league. Yes then left us in the lurch told us lies about his departure and got ambition mixed up with ability. The treacherous little cvnt is now back were he belongs.

There's only so many times he can say he regrets how he handled leaving and he's said it enough times before it starts to sound hollow and meaningless.
flowwolf Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 There's only so many times he can say he regrets how he handled leaving and he's said it enough times before it starts to sound hollow and meaningless. It sounded hollow and meaningless then and still does now. He knew he was leaving us for Aston Villa but came up with a load of bollocks about having to take a break away from football and had no intention of joining another club, then did exactly that. Yes I'm sure he is full of regrets having had the sack from so many clubs since . Serves the little judas right.
blueharmie Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 yeah im not to sure on little, i mean it was a great play off win but he just rambles on about villa too much and we all know they are crap and have been for years and will now get relegated. its like he saw lcfc as a stepping stone to a big pile of shit.
Guest Col city fan Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 I can't believe people on here knocking Little!! He put us back on the map with some very exciting times then moved to a bigger club.. Fookin get over it!
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 7 February 2013 Posted 7 February 2013 I'm staggered at the hate towards Brian Little after all this time. He turned us around from the Pleat dross and made us competitive. He also laid the foundations for the O'Neill years. Yes, the way he left was a total mess but, as someone who knows him reasonably well, I can assure you he has extremely fond memories of his time with us, some of the happiest of his career, and yes if he could turn back the clock he would've handled his departure completely differently and he feels bad about it. Villa was and always will be HIS club and there's no reason to knock him for that. But he always speaks highly of Leicester. Anyway, as for the Keys&Gray interview on talkSPORT, it was mainly Villa-related.
Grewks Posted 7 February 2013 Posted 7 February 2013 Of course his interview was gonna be villa related, especially considering andy gray was there.
ian the fox Posted 7 February 2013 Posted 7 February 2013 fans have obviously forgot the pain pre- Brian Little What he achieved on a pathetic budget at that time has never been bettered in my book I dont blame him for wanting away to his Villa in the end Yes it was handled poorly but Fartin-George wasnt going to let him go on good terms ............
absolutelegend Posted 7 February 2013 Posted 7 February 2013 Little was fantastic form us. Got some real good performances out of some pretty ordinary and cheap players. We were much better positioned when he left than when he took over. These Judas type comments are nothing more than immature.
