I'm not sure- I was over on the left, got carried half way down the stand towards the pitch and couldn't see much for all the smoke and bodies for a while 

 

A small insight into what football would have been like back in the day for those of us who weren't around in the 80s. Probably for the last time too- there's a few away terraces still knocking about in the lower leagues, but none are that big or open to my knowledge.

I was right at the front. It was pretty mental - people were being told to move forward over PA. When we took the lead people had to get out and move forwards virtually pitchside.

For those of you who think the Moys End was "over full" that day ...

 

Here is a short clip of the Moys End for the Peterborough Utd v Man City 5th round FA Cup tie in 1981, when they had a capacity crowd (of nearly 28,000 I think), and there were nearly double the number on the Moys End terrace, than when we went there last.
