Some cracking pictures there.

Which game shown would you go to if you could go back in time? Villa 1932 for me, looks brill.

Edit: Hampden for the European cup final in 1960 with a crown of 127,621 :o

they all look good. I have a collection of magazines that came out in the 70's it lists all the results of FA cup games and league tables from the very first games, plus it always has pictures of old grounds going back to the 1800's. All the grounds look amazing, I just think grounds look better without seats in them. :D

Watneys Draught Red Barrel,

Drink Red Barrel near or far

In pub or club or any bar,

It's always good wherever you are,

That's Watneys Draught Red Barrel!

Roll out red barrel

Let's have Red Barrel today.

Drink, drink, Red Barrel .............I can't remember the rest :D

They used to advertise as " a fistful of flavour" , but that probably means something quite different these days.

I came across a shop in Windsor selling large size prints of Stamford Bridge (these shots were among them) The quality of the image was amazing, even in a big frame....would be nice if something similar existed for Filbert St

Some great pictures, great read. The older grounds are still the best, Anfield has always been my favourite since my first visit.
