Lamby Posted 5 September 2013 Posted 5 September 2013 Go Cardinals! They're still not gonna win anything this year though
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 5 September 2013 Posted 5 September 2013 I'll be going to my first game on the weekend seeing Colts v Raiders hoping Andrew Luck has come on even more. Currently looking out of my hotel room window at the bengals stadium which is pretty impressive
purpleronnie Posted 5 September 2013 Posted 5 September 2013 Massive bengals fan in the early 90's, which coincided with them being shit for many years. I can pick 'em.

Been in Cincy well technically Northern Kentucky since Sunday, i love here just shattered i have to leave before the Bengals first home game. Did see a bit of training tho a couple of days ago
Guesty Posted 5 September 2013 Posted 5 September 2013 I'm a Seahawks fan and they're looking quite good this year. So Russell Wilson will probably get injured in the first game, closely followed by Lynch and then we'll be screwed.

Did see a bit of training tho a couple of days ago Think the only time I was in cincinnati I visited The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but my only real memory was going to a macdonalds in a really dodgy area where a family were fighting with the staff over the food. I guess the The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame wasn't too impressive if that's all i remember.
davieG Posted 5 September 2013 Posted 5 September 2013 My son's ( Valerenga) a big 49ers fan and has been for years. he's just booked to see them at Candlestick Park in September before they pull it down a bonus is they're playing the Colts his '2nd' team. Getting a couple of baseball games, which he's recently got into while he's there.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 5 September 2013 Posted 5 September 2013 Baseball is awesome over here, i've been to 6 games in 7 days it's quality.
Guesty Posted 5 September 2013 Posted 5 September 2013 Also for people doing fantasy NFL. You should take a look at the NFL UK one. It's the one Sky Sports use so if you do well you get name checked I think. There are also prizes like shirts, balls and tickets to the Superbowl. It's a bit different to normal fantasy because you pick a new team each week, so it's a bit more involved. But there are weekly prizes as well.

I'll set up a mini league for those interested. http://fantasy.nfluk.com/uksalarycap/league?league_id=2374 Fantasy Foxestalk Password - lcfc
potter3 Posted 5 September 2013 Posted 5 September 2013 Ended up in some fantasy league so I'm going to try and actually pay attention to what happens, I know about 4 players..
Jordan Posted 5 September 2013 Posted 5 September 2013 I'm going with Niners over Broncos in the Super Bowl. I like the Broncos to win and cover tonight. I'm a little worried about the Giants this season, but any one of the NFC East teams can go down in a ball of flames this season so I won't throw in the towel before the season starts.
Lamby Posted 6 September 2013 Posted 6 September 2013 Ravens are gonna turn Broncos into mofo'nig toast!
syston_fox Posted 6 September 2013 Posted 6 September 2013 Two mistakes costing the ravens so far! Struggling to stay awake thanks to the damn kick off being delayed!
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 6 September 2013 Posted 6 September 2013 This has been a huge 3rd term for the Broncos
Jordan Posted 6 September 2013 Posted 6 September 2013 Ravens are gonna turn Broncos into mofo'nig toast!Lamby, are you OK? It's not like you to be this far off the mark when it comes to your sports picks...
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 6 September 2013 Posted 6 September 2013 Haha Jordan! Manning was quality tonight
Jonezy Posted 6 September 2013 Posted 6 September 2013 Great. My opponent in the first week of fantasy football of course has Peyton as his QB...... Need some comeback now, but well played Peyton.
Guest Posted 6 September 2013 Posted 6 September 2013 Lamby, are you OK? It's not like you to be this far off the mark when it comes to your sports picks... *waits for him to blame the ref*
General Smuts Posted 6 September 2013 Author Posted 6 September 2013 I lasted till half time. ****ing half hour delay.
Guest MattP Posted 6 September 2013 Posted 6 September 2013 That was Manning at his best... Wes Welker is the best third receiver I've seen since Reggie Wayne came into the Colts side. Made his choice wisely though going from Brady to Peyton Could take some stopping this lot.
Guest Posted 6 September 2013 Posted 6 September 2013 Just looking back at the highlights, looks like Manning had a belter of a game. Julius Thomas looks like he made some excellent runs aswell for those TDs.

Welker is such a reliable WR and a perfect fit for the Broncos' offense (although Peyton could probably even make me look good). That said, WTF was Welker doing even thinking about catching that punt on his own 5-yard line? There were a lot of stupid mistakes made last night and at times, the game looked like it was still preseason. But when the Broncos' offense switched gears, god damn... BTW if anyone here wants to read ridiculous tales about every NFL team, check out the "Why Your Team Sucks 2013" series on Deadspin.

My mate tweeted me with the Redskins link to that last night 'Last season RG3 made me forget how much I hate Dan Snyder. This offseason, Dan Snyder made me forget how much I liked RG3' http://deadspin.com/why-your-team-sucks-2013-washington-redskins-1257835174
