Sack him now!

You can't expect a new bunch of young players to gel, stay confident when the going gets tough, handle pressure, and storm the league in one season. Look at the teams to get promoted the last few years and Cardiff now, they've had pretty much the same squad for 2-4 years before getting promoted, they've grown together and gained experience together and become a stronger and stronger unit because of it. We have an awesome foundation for a team next season with a couple of experienced players thrown in.

Pearson has his faults like ALL managers - his inability to handle bigger name players and have an effective plan B the main ones for me. The Thai owners knew what his style was when they appointed him though so i can't see him getting the sack until next season. He likes to build teams over time with young hungry players like he start at Hull 3 years ago - look at them now with most of his team in there!! We tried the 'buy big names, high wages, but don't give a sh*t attitude high profile' players with Sven but didn't get us anywhere.

Sacking NP will mean a new man coming in, selling 10 players, buying another 10, them not gelling because there's too many changes at once and then calling for his head again when results suffer and so the circus of impatient Leicester fans delaying the success of this club continues.

Hey , never said anything is true but the "I will be on the bus to Brighton " was meant to say something . And in truth , no vendetta , how is Pearson still in a job . You pick out his predictions /contacts that's are wrong but look at his good stuff , guessing can never be fact until it happens so some will be off target . Vendetta , I like the man ! Knockys got the vendetta not me !

What, you mean like our recent 'Derby' game with Derby?

A more impassionate performance from City you never will see..

Can't argue with that. Di Canio was a huge gamble for whoever took him on though . I don't think Sunderland are out of the woods yet.

Throw enough shit and enough of it sticks. Look at the bloke who was just making stuff up / taking educated guesses and Liverpool thought they had a mole in the camp. Their commercial director ended up getting sacked for threatening the bloke!!!!

The problem with being wrong so often is that people won't trust you if a genuine story comes up. Stick to facts. Beware the rumour mill.

The gamble will pay off IMO

Watched MOTD last night, did you see his celebration when Sunderland won? That's what you call passion right there lol

It's what he does when they aren't worries me about that bloke! His antics at Swindon with their keeper won't wash with bigger name players.

The incident with Foderingham was nothing.

He actually punched Leon Clarke for not doing as he said when they were in League Two.

I like the bloke, he's fun to watch at other teams. But you just know there is something waiting to blow up around the corner with.

Exactly this...

You kinda KNOW that something's gonna happen out the ordinary. Good or bad.

Oh I can't see it working unless he changes his managerial style. By the time he left Swindon around 4 or 5 players had been told they'd never play for the club again whilst he was there just because they'd done something to annoy him. He cost Swindon about 1.5 million all in all.

It's all good doing that with League One players, when you've got players worth 8 million earning 50k a week you just can't do it.

Agree lol

He's such a character, reminds me a little of Mourinho. Hope he succeeds at Sunderland.

I can't belive some of the posts I am reading about Di Canio. He is a fascist thug. Nothing more nothing less. I don't want him anywhere near football let alone LCFC. I am extremly disappointed that Sunderland sacked MON and made even more pathetic decision in appointing Di Canio. Lets just see the evidence about Di Canio -

1, Di Canio giving a fascist salute to Lazio fans.

2, He has admitted to the media that he is a fascist but not a racist. (whats the difference)

3, He is known to be involved with the Lazio Ultra gang. This gang are a racist, fascist and antisemitic gang.

4, He was close friends with the late Paolo Signorelli, a leading member of the Italian Social Movement which emerged from members of Mussolini’s Fascist Party.

5, Di Canio attended Paolo Signorelli's funeral three years ago.

6, Di Canio has a tattoo of Mussolini on his back, He praises Mussolini in his autobiography.

7, He has been pictured on at least three other occasions giving fascist salutes.

Well done to the The Durham Miners’ Association.

I would rather see us get relageted then see that fascist saluting Mussolini loving hooligan at our club.

He denied it more recently. Actually, there is a difference between fascism and racism, and I feel like its one area where Di Canio is defensible. Racism is an attribute that fits in comfortably with a fascist ideology, but they are not connected. The racist part was brought in by Nazism, and because nowadays 'Nazi', 'Fascist' and 'Racist' are all interchangeable, the distinction is completely lost. In reality, Italian fascism was not inherently racist or anti-semitic, certainly not before 1936 when Mussolini's continuing co-operation with the Nazis led to the Nazis pressuring the Italian government into copying them closer to the letter, and even after that Fascist anti-semitism was very mild compared to the Nazi version. Mussolini was not anti-semitic, and some of the top Italian fascists were Jewish, as well as Mussolini's long-term mistress Margherita Sarfatti.

Ah a balanced view on things, how refreshing
