5waller5 Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 One win is fabulous. Feels great..... But does that make the last 13 games acceptable??? Only the next three games will answer that!
whoareyaaa Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 One win is fabulous. Feels great..... But does that make the last 13 games acceptable??? Only the next three games will answer that! Considering we done very well in the 13 before that I don't think it matters.

Blank slate mate, blank slate... Forget all that's gone before, for now. The next three is ALL that's important. It's now in our own hands again which is the best position we could be in.

Three cup finals - and that definitely felt like a cup final!!! The crowd to be fair couldn't have been better, fabulous effort...... And apart from taking dyer off, I thought a good performance by NP!!!!!!!

Fox92 Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 I don't think Pearson did that good a job tonight if i'm honest, but he was due getting bailed out by his players. We won, he's done his job. Just need to claim that play off place now. Can't wait for Saturday...
Zingari Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 I've never really thought it was a great idea at this stage of the season so I'm probably the wrong person to answer. The players seem to have had a bit of zip back today and against Birmingham and he probably deserves credit for that but he's also made some absolutely diabolical tactical and personnel decisions in the last couple of games and I really hope the happy clappers aren't patrolling about all smug today because "their man" proved all "the doubters" wrong. I want the best for Nigel and the team and I hope now that'll turn our form around and we'll get ourselves to Wembley but let's not act like our form in 2013 hasn't been utterly shameful and a serious concern for the owners. Don’t get me wrong , I’ve not been a massive fan of NP but I think he’s done a very good job of changing a team of over rated big money buys into a team that maybe doesn’t look so much better statistically , but looks so much better for the future . He inherited a team, not of his choice, that seemed to be in disarray and he’s made some extremely difficult decisions to off load highly rated, but under performing players. How many of us would have shipped out Mills, Danns and Beckford ? it seemed like managerial suicide to me Fair play to NP, I thought at the time that some of his decisions were very much based on his own egocentricity, but I really am starting to believe he is the sort of manager for the long run. I’ve been wrong loads of times before though
Guest kristianity77 Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 Nothing really changes on the job front. Hes got essentially till the end of the season to save his job. Out of the playoffs and hes out the door. Playoff Semis and I think hes out the door. He MAY buy himself some of next season if he was to give us a Wembley day out but fail. Promotion from here is the only way we can describe this season as successful from where we were 8 weeks ago

_Fatboyslow_ Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 I went to the Cardiff game down Filbo and thought we looked as good as I've ever seen us.....then it all went wrong. WAKEY WAKEY time to post

Manwell Pablo Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 WAKEY WAKEY time to post He aint gonna be on here today is he, he's going to be "a bit busy" till at least Saturday.
hackneyfox Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Well I'm not changing my mind because of one win.
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Well I'm not changing my mind because of one win. As the play-offs are looking more and more likely he could be around for a little longer. If that's the case at least he will get the full length of rope, so to speak. What would be interesting would be if Pearson remained in charge if we got promoted. .
whoareyaaa Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Even if we lose the next 3 Pearson will be here next season. get used to it.
seenitall Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Loved it last night, don't get to so many games anymorebut often pick the best ones (by accident) - reminded me why I love footy - lets hope that was Niges 'O Neill moment and we can celebrate his greatness for years to come........ If we don't all suffocate in a cloud of smug before Saturday
