ealingfox Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 Seenitall Are you always THIS negative? You must be delightful to live with! I can be a miserable bar-steward granted, but you are serving up page after page of posts which appear to suggest that you dislike everything about the Pearson regime? We have been shite for the past two/three months but we can STILL get something out of this season? That's fact, not opinion. We might not, probably not, but it's still possible. And if we do I would be warmed to feel that you would slink back into that deep and dark hole from whence you came. There's criticism and then there's this... You really are something else! Bit hypocritical considering only 3 days ago you started a thread called 'Happy Clapping' in which you belittle people who invested a bit of faith into Pearson and the team...
Guest Col city fan Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 Bit hypocritical considering only 3 days ago you started a thread called 'Happy Clapping' in which you belittle people who invested a bit of faith into Pearson and the team... If you read the thread through you would see my own definition of 'happy clapping'. Maybe read it before you respond and you wouldnt look like such a charlie? And the gist of the thread was essentially asking how people who were hugely pro-Pearson feel both now and how they might feel if we don't make it. This is not the same as how this thread has collapsed into page after page of anti-Pearson sheer miserableness. Don't bracket me in with this.
seenitall Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 I hear you - to be fair the thread is called Sack Him Now and I didn't start it........... There is so much blinkered support I thought someone should stand up to it a bit.....sorry to offend PS I might change me mind after tonights win

Most of it's optimism that's tempered by realism. If you want blinkered take a look in the mirror seenitallyetstillknownowt

Guest Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 Sorry, I still think you are wrong, don't get any big ideas - plus I wasn't really speaking to you Since when has someone not talking to you stopped you from chiming in? What goes around etc.
Babylon Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 There is so much blinkered support I thought someone should stand up to it a bit.....sorry to offend So much blinkered support? There has been little but "sack him now" screamed for the last 6 weeks
seenitall Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 So much blinkered support? There has been little but "sacked him now" screamed for the last 6 weeks ....or you Since when has someone not talking to you stopped you from chiming in? What goes around etc. Chime away - it is a forum after all - perhaps you should set up a new one where everyone agrees with you all the time - should be dead interesting
Guest Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 ....or you Chime away - it is a forum after all - perhaps you should set up a new one where everyone agrees with you all the time - should be dead interesting Where exactly have I stated that I wanted that? My opinion, and plenty of others, differs from yours and I'm free to express it and be criticised by others myself. Bottom line is if you're going to continue to spout endless negativity based on nothing then you should expect to be called on it. If you don't like that then there's always the perpetual misery of TalkingBalls that you can migrate to.
Babylon Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 the perpetual misery of TalkingBalls that you can migrate to. I think he's more of a Bentleys Roof kind of guy.

whoareyaaa Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 thing is if Pearson does end up going the majority of you numpties that want him gone all of sudden think by bringing in another manager we will storm the league. Yeah right you idiots, look at the last 10 years, is this our best position since then?

lcfcsnow Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 Sousa is a perfect example. A perfect example of laying foundations for Sven maybe. He spent a whole summer trying to teach Pearsons side to pass the ball whilst dealing with our only goalscorer Fryatt in a mardy (amongst others - Wellens, Gallagher) after Pearson had left. He wasn't all bad, but it was never going to work given the circumstances.

One of Andy Kings best performances IIRC, the change in style that season really brought out the best in him. It's been downhill ever since.

Yeah right you idiots, look at the last 10 years, is this our best position since then? So being out of the play offs is acceptable then? I was happy for Pearson to stay if he performed. He's not performing, nor does if look like he is capable of it!
Zingari Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 Just out of interest , does anyone still think this would be such a good idea ?
foxfanazer Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 Just out of interest , does anyone still think this would be such a good idea ? Of course they do! You'll have to wait until the next time we lose to get a reply from them though as they always seem to miraculously disappear after a win
ADK Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 I don't think Pearson did that good a job tonight if i'm honest, but he was due getting bailed out by his players.
Zingari Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 I don't think Pearson did that good a job tonight if i'm honest, but he was due getting bailed out by his players. so if the team do well it's all credit to the players , if we play crap it's because of the manager ok
Fox 4 Life Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 I don't think Pearson did that good a job tonight if i'm honest, but he was due getting bailed out by his players. I've heard it all now, so last week when the players missed chance after chance and we draw a game we should have won, It's all Pearsons fault yet tonight when we win its all about the players......
Finnegan Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 Just out of interest , does anyone still think this would be such a good idea ? I've never really thought it was a great idea at this stage of the season so I'm probably the wrong person to answer. The players seem to have had a bit of zip back today and against Birmingham and he probably deserves credit for that but he's also made some absolutely diabolical tactical and personnel decisions in the last couple of games and I really hope the happy clappers aren't patrolling about all smug today because "their man" proved all "the doubters" wrong. I want the best for Nigel and the team and I hope now that'll turn our form around and we'll get ourselves to Wembley but let's not act like our form in 2013 hasn't been utterly shameful and a serious concern for the owners.
