smiggy6773 Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 I've been saying this for years and years!!!....why don't the club bring in Stevie Walsh, even if he's somewhere in the backroom!! He's Leicester through and through....he would bring the die hard passion back into the foxes!!!
Kitchandro Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Why do you assume that someone can bring 'passion' to the team? Some of the players just don't give a shit, no amount of club legends are going to fill them with confidence or convince them to believe. The players' passion has to come from within. They can belive in the manager and find him inspiring, but they either have desire and pride or they don't.
stevelcfc Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 He's running a kids academy which feeds into City's with his mate, Muzzy Izzet
LJS Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 I'm Leicester through and through but you don't want me anywhere the team. If Walsh was that bothered about managing us he'd have got his coaching badges years ago. He's thick as pigshit anyway. No thanks.

How do you know??.....I don't see anyone else doing the job, otherwise we would be in the automatic places or even in the Premiership!!!!!!
Buzzell Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 The amount of times this has been posted on here over the past years. Unbelievable Jeff.
smiggy6773 Posted 2 April 2013 Author Posted 2 April 2013 The amount of times this has been posted on here over the past years. Unbelievable Jeff. What does it tell you then??!!
Meadsey1975 Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Walshie is a fvcking god and a leg-end but a manager he aint!
Buzzell Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 The amount of times this has been posted on here over the past years. Unbelievable Jeff. What does it tell you then??!! That its never going to happen. End of thread.
yorkie1999 Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 The only things nowadays that will bring any form of passion to a player is a million pound a win bonus and the club have the ability to sack a player for being shit
Poznan34 Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 The players are robots, they don't feel passion don't be silly.
smiggy6773 Posted 2 April 2013 Author Posted 2 April 2013 Just like Shearer did for Newcastle. You can't compare LCFC to Newcastle!!!...different scenario!!!
Guest Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Bets on when this thread will be deleted/merged? I'm saying before 9pm.
Vacamion Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 And........... And your point??!! OK, I'll humour you... a) Another pointless thread in amongst a load of pointless threads. b) Another poster starting a thread having not really posted here much. c) The suggested scenario will never, ever happen. d) See Kitchandro's post about where passion comes from. e) Posts with multiple punctuation such as "!!!" "!!" and "!!!" do not tend to contain convincing arguments. f) Whilst many people love Steve Walsh for his dedication to the club, I don't think passion and dedication are more important attributes than being able to coach the game. Are there ANY indications that Walsh is a great coach? Is he good enough to trust with the millions that the Thais have spent on the club? g) Your argument assumes a priori that Pearson has been or is about to be sacked. No concrete evidence for this so far. h) It may not surprise you to know that EVERY time we do lose the services of a manager (and there has been a lot of that over the last few years) someone has come on this Forum and posted a very similar suggestion to yours. If it wasn't a good idea then, why is it an idea who's time has come now? i) A memorable song from the 90s does not mean it is a good idea (Julian Joachim would have to pay the bedroom tax in his council flat). In view of the above, I was left with resigned disappointment that you had bothered to air your thoughts in a new thread. Hence the sigh.
Buzzell Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 How do you know!!!!!!!!!! So now Steve Walsh is the answer to all our problems? If that was the case, he would of sorted out his coaching badges years ago and applied for a position with the club.
smiggy6773 Posted 2 April 2013 Author Posted 2 April 2013 That its never going to happen. End of thread. Perhaps never will!!!....like i said on the first post, somehwere in the backroom!!!!
