Danno Posted 24 April 2013 Posted 24 April 2013 And to get this straight twisted, I am not condoning or justifying any potential flash points.I don't think that my point was abot preference either I just cannot see why the usual 4,500 allocation wasn't given? I am not an anorak but over 2000 quite a lot of games our away support is decent! It is a big game so they want to minimise the amount of away fans so the home team have the most advantage. Not really difficult to understand.
GingerrrFox Posted 24 April 2013 Posted 24 April 2013 Haha ok pal!! The certain areas i mention will not tolerate away fans if it is made known they are away fans, any leicester fans in those areas, especially A and B block need their heads testing! Other areas may be ok You like to talk a lot. When we are in Nottingham you lot do nothing so don't act like it's a Rambo film pal because it's all in your head. Nothing is gonna happen, we'll go there, watch the match and come home. That's really all that will happen so stop acting Bertie Big Bollocks. It doesn't suit your lot.
WeAreGoingUp Posted 24 April 2013 Posted 24 April 2013 is it impossible now for them to give us some more tickets?

AshRed Posted 24 April 2013 Posted 24 April 2013 is it impossible now for them to give us some more tickets? Yes. Half of the Bridgford stand has been made available to home supporters and tickets have already been sold.
1964FOX Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 Yes. Half of the Bridgford stand has been made available to home supporters and tickets have already been sold. Been on the cards for a while but most were hanging onto the hope you wouldn't sell out but it was made clear to the club that we were only getting 2000 so absolutely no surprise at all Gives us something else to hate you for though so not all bad.
AshRed Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 I understand the frustration. As a season ticket holder I've been wondering where everyone was for the Blackpool and Barnsley. Also had the same problem at Cardiff and Millwall.
hackneyfox Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 If an away fan is discovered in the home end a reasonable human being would ask a steward to have them removed, so if it kicks off it would be the home fans fault if they become aggressive. Disagree, it would be the away fans fault for buying a ticket in the wrong end.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 It is a big game so they want to minimise the amount of away fans so the home team have the most advantage. Not really difficult to understand. And it won't work. We shant let it. Remember Norwich?!
1964FOX Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 Disagree, it would be the away fans fault for buying a ticket in the wrong end. I was being a little bit tongue in cheek, we all know in the passion of the 90 minutes football grounds are not full of reasonable human beings. Going in a home end carries a risk and personally i couldn't keep quiet and of course as you suggest you are in the wrong by breaking ground regulations.
Simmo86 Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 What I can't understand is when they had their 'neutral' end against Doncaster it passed off without any trouble. So why when they're playing against 'just another team' would there be trouble with supporters mixing. Surely that should be reserved for teams they care about like Derby and Sheff Utd. Rather than the likes of Leicester? Strange one.

I sometimes think as i said before people need to accept people support different teams.
1964FOX Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 Reality is 98% of fans could mix together as only a tiny minority would start a fight. However I much prefer seperate fan areas as it creates the banter and singing.
Tomo1865 Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 Forest Fan in peace. I've come on here just to see how Leicester fans were doing with getting tickets in our home end? Our website posted this yesterday, http://www.nottinghamforest.co.uk/news/article/lower-bridgford-open-790511.aspx So only single tickets available in other areas and it says you need VALID CLIENT REFERENCE number to buy a ticket. Can't imagine they will be letting any fans, Forest or Leicester fans in disguise, buy tickets for their first ever game. You get a reference when you first buy a ticket. So how many of you actually have tickets in the home end already? Would imagine it would be pretty hard to get them now to be honest but I'm sure a select few will find a way.

Tomo1865 Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 Evening all. Beat it Bacon Breath. Haha, don't understand the Bacon Breath but assuming by the "Evening All" you thought I was police? If that's how it came across I won't expect any more replies

Tomo1865 Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 i have a client reference number You can probably get one then but can't imagine many Leicester fans will already have one. Police....pig....bacon. Haha get it now
JonnyBoy Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 You can probably get one then but can't imagine many Leicester fans will already have one. Haha get it now i have bought a ticket when Forest played boro on a student deal for 3 quid but bought it at the t.o and didn't need a ref? the other day i set an account up online and put my address in (Nottingham student house address) and it gave me a client ref number. Surely Leicester fans will just use random Nottingham Addresses using google maps? easy
JonnyBoy Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 Got my ticket no problem Dave, how did you get about getting your ticket?
LutterworthLCFC Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 Dave, how did you get about getting your ticket? Went on website, tried selecting a seat but it wouldn't let me, so I just clicked quick seats. Put in my address and everything. Had to become a member or summat to order one
Simmo86 Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 I'm in Y1, guessing that will be next the Forest daytrippers/Leicester in the home end

I have a valid ref number and have never been to a home game there so that is rubbish. I won't be using it though as I'll be in the away end making more noise than the day trippers at the side of us.
