broughtonblue Posted 11 May 2013 Author Posted 11 May 2013 Betfair. Purely for the cash out option.is that the thing where you can collect before the end of a game, does seem a good thing to take into consideration
HEGGSY Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 is that the thing where you can collect before the end of a game, does seem a good thing to take into considerationYes mate
Guest BlueBrett Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 Betfair. Purely for the cash out option. Willhill offer that too. I think they have the best site in terms of ease of navigation and the way it is presented. I'd say it's probably the best for an occasional gambler who isn't looking to lay anything.
Danizen Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 I use Bet365. Match odds are always on the move. BetVictor are usually there amongst the best. Steer clear of Ladbrokes and SkyBet.
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 Funnily enough I signed up to Coral today for a flutter on the FA Cup Final, but chose not to after looking at the odds. Watford tomorrow however, King to score anytime is 5 or 6/1, and I fancy 2-2... Are there are any discernible differences between online bookies? I only signed up at Coral because I had an account donkeys years ago.
ScouseFox Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 BetVictor will give you best odds on footy 99 times out of 100. Use them for your Saturday football accies. If you want to do a single of any type, no matter how big or small then use Betfair. Exchange'll give you better odds and the option to take what you've got and run before you lose everything because someone scores an equaliser from an offside position in the 95th minute.

ScouseFox Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 2-2 tomorrow is 12/1 on Betfair, but 14/1 on Coral... Yeah on the fixed odds market, if you go on the exchange it's 14.5/1 and then you have the option to cash out if it's 2-2 or 2-1 or something with not long left.

broughtonblue Posted 11 May 2013 Author Posted 11 May 2013 haha, this betting lark is a piece of pi55, well done wigan
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 I like Paddy Power, probably better odds elsewhere but it's quick to navigate and they have Money Back specials on a lot of events - comes in handy. Was also given a £2 free bet this month (nice to be rewarded without having to be a new customer)
Filbert_Ross Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 I'd say bet365 is the best site, for best odds its varies each week.
adam1 Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 I would open accounts with all the firms so as to ensure getting the best price. Don't do it all at once though as it is best only to open an account when you want to use them (thus take advantage of their opening offers). Always use oddschecker and shop around for the best price. You will be surprised at price differences (not so much in football betting but other so called specialised markets such as cycling - I have seen differences of over 40pts - which is at least a £200 difference with a £5 stake). With regards to the debate on exchanges v. fixed odds the exchanges tend to be better on the win market. Also you can trade out of your bet. It is a bit like buying shares but the opposite. With shares you buy low and sell high. With bets you buy high and sell low thus a tenner at 3/1 laid (sold) at 1/1 gives a profit of £20 if it wins or no loss if you lose. Alternatively you could sell £20 at 1/1 thus making a tenner profit either way. Remember though that there is an exchange called betdaq (now owned by ladbrokes). They were doing low commission offers. The prices on betdaq and betfair tend to be the same (computer programs snap up the differences).
Swalker Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 Don't use Bwin! I won a bet and still waiting to be able to claim it!! I've got to upload ID

Well this is my job so I will give you as much independent advice as possible Anyone saying so and so have the best odds are talking rubbish for starters. As someone else said check oddschecker each time so you can get the best value Most sites these days are pretty easy to use but all the well known UK ones are easier for withdrawing funds etc If you like some betting offers as you go a long though Coral, Paddy Power and Betfred do some good ones but BetVictor and Ladbrokes are at the moment pushing out the most losing bet refund offers Also if you want to check out the welcome free bet offers have a look at the site in my sig
Houdini Logic Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 I was having a look around recently - for site and app Bet365 seems to be the best shout
