NewburyFox Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 Went for the Cardiff v Pompey cup final a few years back after winning tickets. Game was as boring as hell and I doubt I'll return unless with City. England games don't do it for me.
Guest Roper Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 tell you what we better bloody win if we get there. Its my birthday, it'd be shit if we lost.
Jace Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 Went for the Cardiff v Pompey cup final a few years back after winning tickets. Game was as boring as hell and I doubt I'll return unless with City. England games don't do it for me. Have to admit the atmosphere was very poor I thought concidering there was 80,000 attendance

Bourne Blue& White Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 Been once to see England wouldn't go again unless its with Leicester.[/quoteI have also been once to see England, and agree will not go again unless its with City
CORNFOX2 Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 Playoff finals tend too be better atmosphere not so many neutral fans.
dmayne7 Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 Been three times, not a patch on the old Wembley when it comes to atmosphere. Said this in another thread. It works better as a music venue than football. Still a great day out but you just don't get the sense of History or that you're going to the national stadium IMO.
Deucalion Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 I've been in the New Wembley car park. I got the coach back from there after the 'Stop the Cuts' demo. Good day out !! ps - the steward/organiser bloke was a Blackburn Rovers fan...and pished as a newt)
Wymsey Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 Family already got tickets reserved via private scheme (if we advance after tomorrow); LCFC connections.
ousefox Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 York-Fleetwood York-Oxford York-Luton Decent atmosphere really for lower league teams.
Webbo Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 Went there for the Olympic (men's) football semi final last year.
