I did ask, about ten times while I was renewing my season ticket.

So you've got no tickets

No

Any returns

No,

Not just odd ones knocking around

No

I'll try later shall I

Not worth it

Ok I'll ring later.

Fair play to you anyway.

Cant believe anyone is defending the club or saying this is no big deal.

Its appalling, the club knew how many ticks they had, they knew people were queuing... and they did nothing.. it is simply.. a pisstake.

Shameful effort

hi I was working on security that night and I think u will find the first 40 people in the queue all had more than one season ticket, I know at least 10 people had about 4/6 each so when the queue was near the elephants around the barrier that was about it for the tickets.

That's true, but they didn't get multiple tickets. It was one ticket per person.

hi mark I can confirm that if u had 4 season tickets u got 4 tickets sat morning. I have proof of this via text message.

Well I heard the staff say it was one ticket per person not season ticket, heard the same from fans coming out, saw someone rush back to their car to get someone to go in with them and based on counting my position in the queue before and after the tickets were sold can confirm that about 80 people went in to the ticket office before they stopped selling tickets.

I think it is absolutely appaling that the 100 tickets that were available were given to the staff in the club shop when people queued from 9:30 last night! Yet another expample of how well our club treat the fans!

Although there it's nothing wrong with treating the staff, these tickets were promised for general sale and some poor people queued and didn't get one. I'd bet these spare tickets went to friends of staff, I know for a fact they sort their own out first. And yes I've been a lucky recipient in knowing people who know staff there, not this time though!. Like an old boys club bordering on corrupt sometimes.

I think the club needs to be more strict on this especially if official ticket numbers available differs to what was communicated..

Personally non plussed but the club should take note

What about those members of staff who sat on their backsides all day dealing with irate customers? I went to collect my tickets and some of the blokes were absolutely foul with the cashiers at the KP. Personally it's a nice gesture by the club, and they probably decided to do this before people decided to que over night.

It was a nice gesture and the abuse aimed at the staff there was both over the top and probably misguided. But the club did make a mess of it, if they had done two very simple things then they would have come out of yesterday looking brilliant. All they needed to do was avoid advertising more tickets than there actually were and they needed to come out and tell people how many tickets there were (They didn't do this at any point). You can see from the video that the reaction of some people was completely over the top, but those people had been waiting there for at least 4 hours some even longer than that, everyone shared those frustrations it just wasn't right to air them in the way that they did at the people they aimed them at (At least not in my opinion). But there's no doubt in my mind that the club and fans came out of the whole thing looking bad when a little bit of organization on the clubs part could have left the club looking generous and the fans looking good on a day when Watford were struggling to sell their tickets.

and there is Nugent's sister (I think) on twitter saying she has 3 spare tickets for the game today and announcing that at about 9.30 this morning - what a joke.  Nothing like rubbing peoples faces in it.  I really feel for those regular away supporters who didn't get a ticket. COYB

the tickets went to those fans that had camped out - now there's a coincidence that it just happened to be ones that had camped out who got the tickets.  Makes it sound a lot better don't it.  Oh and I should think she did sell them at face value as she tells us and nothing more.

If my memory serves me correct, she had two spare for the home leg aswell.  She should change her name to Sarah Ticketmaster
