Guest Col city fan Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 I genuinely do have a feeling they will sell less for the next season. Many people are still smarting about the extended dip in form and about how it's yet another season of winning nothing. Plus, there's gonna be more football on TV. There are finally, fans of City that I talk to that genuinely are pissed off with the long ball stuff and watching some dour games of football. They also really don't like Pearson. I could be wrong, but I think some of the interest dies away season upon season. I guess we'll see...
rico Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 glad they extended it,don't get paid again until the end of the month
flowwolf Posted 16 May 2013 Posted 16 May 2013 It's not just the thought of Pearson still being in charge it's also about Sky jerking the clubs chain when ever they feel like it . Only seven 3pm Saturday kick offs all season and silly Thursday night matches not to mention the amount of times City were on Sky tv when I could have watched the match for nothing. Football is just not the same anymore and is one of the reasons I will not be renewing mine.
Dan Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 I haven't renewed yet because I'm a lazy bastard. They have worked around my laziness, excellent.
mrsizzett Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 Dave did you have to relocate after they took the A2 and C1 sections out of JTT? i was in A2...... they let us move to A1 and still keep the renewal price, didnt have to relocate but couldnt justify £100 price increase if we didnt!
David Hankey Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 They've only extended the period because season ticket sales aren't going as well as they reckoned. There is no other reason.

Has anybody heard where if you don't notify the club that you won't be renewing your season ticket they will automatically set up your direct debit for this coming seasons ticket both my parents got a letter today informing them both that they will start taking 11 instalments if they do not opt out of renewing season ticket.
manhead666 Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 What is the renewal date? end of the month for the early bird prices

Raj Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 Alot of bollox in this thread...ashley sums it up about right!...ps didn't the club make a statement about the amount of non sat games not happening again???
Raj Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 I haven't renewed yet because I'm a lazy bastard. They have worked around my laziness, excellent. !"!!
ray Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 I sit in A2 `just the ticket' with my 13 yr old son. We've sat there for a few years now. At no point has Leics told us our tickets are no longer `just the ticket' and we either have to find another £100 for our ticket or move into the horrid corner. I found out by the guy who sits in front of me (20 yrs they've sat there and are not renewing). Anyway, I can't justify our tickets almost doubling in two years. My son turned 12 last yr so his ticket trebled. Mine went up £30. So with another £100 to find, I refused. I later realised that on top of this, they're scrapping the 10% family discount, unless you have two adults and one under 18. So in reality, my ticket this season will go up £160!!. Two yrs ago we paid around £300, now they want £590. Yes we could move, but I don't see why we should pay an extra £60 to move into worse seats with a worse view and a cricked neck!. I have complained and got a call from the fanzone folk, who agree it seems unfair, but can do nothing about it. So I guess that's it. My quality time with my son over. Thanks a bunch Leics. We really aren't fans to you any more - just a customer. Why don't they advertise the facts and not the sugar coated version?. `95% price freeze'? Rubbish. More like 95% will go up 10% because not many families bring two parents and one child. `Doubling the just the ticket area' - Rubbush - MOVING just the ticket into worse area. The sales guy was also very unhelpful and told me I should check and read all the terms and conditions of the season ticket and find out myself if my ticket price has increased and that everyone else around me has renewed and paid the extra - rubbish says the fazone. I give in. Every time I try and compromise, they seem to find another brick wall. I wonder also if we did relocate, would they then add another £60 for having to issue us with new cards!!!!!!
HEGGSY Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 at 20 years. Renewed mine in K1, Priority 2 for next year as well
Harry - LCFC Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 I've renewed even though I'm going to be living in London. Why? Cos I'm a fvcking maniac.
Bayfox Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 20 years. What did you watch for the 1st 10? You must have been gutted when you realised you had missed the oneill years.
purpleronnie Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 I've renewed even though I'm going to be living in London. Why? Cos I'm a fvcking maniac. fair play.
Harry - LCFC Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 Could work out badly though. If we have a similar number of night games I'll be in a spot of bother. So yeah, taking a bit of a risk which I may regret.

Guest Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 I've renewed even though I'm going to be living in London. Why? Cos I'm a fvcking maniac. Do a bit of train planning where poss and it's not too bad getting from London to Leics for games. Used to be there doing the same for years myself before heading to Manc

Used to be there doing the same for years myself before heading to Manc Thanks for the advice, and yes I'm going to plan my travel times, routes etc. in advance of each game. The plus side is that there are going to be a number of very accessible away games in my area.
Leicfox Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 Just read this on Facebook; Desperate? Not many renewals? Just the club being generous? Probably not as many renewals as they'd planed at this stage. We should do something like Blackpool which is great for the fans, although Oyston had to do something to justify not spending money on transfers. Their offer was £195.30 for a season ticket for anyone up until the 6th May and all under 8's get in free with a paying adult.
nlukka Posted 19 May 2013 Posted 19 May 2013 Anyone else having problems renewing online? Doesn't give me the option to pay via Direct Debit. Can't go down to the ticket office as I don't live in Leicester and definitely can't afford to ring from my mobile. I did e-mail them last week asking for a call back but no response yet.
