Matt Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 Just read this on Facebook; LCFC OfficialGood news! The Early bird deadline for #LCFC 2013/14 Season Tickets has been extended by two weeks to 31 May - http://t.co/hkLadK6H8l Desperate? Not many renewals? Just the club being generous?
davieG Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 10k sold according to the OS http://www.lcfc.com/news/article/130513-201314-season-ticket-deadline-extended-805917.aspx
Ozwin Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 It's gonna take a few weeks for people to care again, can see why they've done this. Also, can someone explain what 'Just the Ticket' means? I don't understand in relation to the others. And turning 23 has bumped prices up like a bastard.
Happy Fox Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 I am glad they have done so need more time to raise some money towards my season ticket.
Guest Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 Guess some held off until they knew which league we were gonna be in and this is helping ensure they'll be back. Not bad overall though as any possible saving is welcome.

It's the same as any season ticket, just in specific areas of the ground- the corners of the west stand

I don't understand in relation to the others. And turning 23 has bumped prices up like a bastard. It's just a section of the stadium at each end of the West Stand where they traditionally don't eell many tickets. So they reduced the price to fill them up, looks better on the TV as well. I sit in there and the view is more than adequate especially as you can be sitting next to someone who's paid £100 more or less. Don't expect too much singing though.
Harry - LCFC Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 Had we been promoted the club may have had different plans for ST sales, because they know we're in the Championship they might have done something more suitable for the division. I don't know the ideas behind it but perhaps extending the early bird deadline is better for revenue in the Championship.
LCFCMickey Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 Probably figured that this months extra cash went on play off tickets... End of the month needed for most to round off their savings? They have to realise we're normal people with month-by-month salaries... not weekly paid footballers.

Dave did you have to relocate after they took the A2 and C1 sections out of JTT?

I asked someone about this because its 50 quid cheaper than where i sit in sk1 and i thought it looked the same view, but apparently you walk out the ground after watching a game with a stiff neck, so i dont think i'll bother.

I often sit in these areas really makes no difference whatsoever, views are good anywhere in the ground and for most games you can just move into the really dear empty seats in the middle of the west stand which no one buys as they are double the price.
Deucalion Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 I'm really glad they have done this, as I forgot to renew today, I am working late again tomorrow, and I am fetching my new motorbike on Friday, so may very well forget to do it. I can do it on Saturday now.

Ashley Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 I think people might be looking into this a little bit too much, the club tried to smash as many sales as possible with us reaching the play-offs with us potentially playing Premier League football next season. 10,000 ST at this stage isn't bad at all considering we only had around 16,000 last season?

floppus Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 I believe that the extention is due to a number of complaints from folk who have been having difficulty renewing despite the systems in place to make life easy. I began the process nearly 3 weeks ago using the online facility at lcfcdirect. Over a period of 18 days I tried, repeatedly, to log in to my acount and continually recieved an error message that my username or password were incorrect. I followed the online invitation to check my details on at least 10 occasions but NEVER received the expected reply. Yesterday morning I successfully logged on (using the usual details) but when I accessed my account page there were details that were incorrect despite the fact that I only have 2 adult tickets and a car park pass which have remained unchanged for many seasons So began the merry go round of telephoning he sales centre. I rang yesterday just before 4pm and listened for 8 minutes to robot man advertising, promoting and generally boring me interspersed with the usual terrible music. After about 15 further minutes (now at 4 pounds 27 pence using the 10.4p min landline charge rae for 0844 numbers) robot lady advised me that I was 5th in the queue. 4 pounds 54 later robot lady proudly announced that I had been promoted to 4th in the queue. Given that the time was now 12 minutes to 5pm and in the knowledge that the 'service' team donned coats at 5pm I decided to cut and run. This morning I waited for 10 minutes for the coats off and first cup of coffee for the overworked hoard and telephoned at 9.10am. On cue robot man kept me entertained for the first 38 minutes (where was robot lady) before it happened. Robot lady popped up to gleefully inform me that i was TENTH in the queue. I pondered on this information for some further 10 minutes and hearing nothing further from RL decided to take RM's advice and 'e-mail in the event of difficulty'. Having now spent close to 18 GBP with no discernable effect other than the lighter bank balance decided that emails were the way to go ....THEY WERE FREE. I sent my first mail to the 'sales centre' explaining the sequence of events and within an hour got a reply from robot mail (not male) thanking me for my valued enquiry but due to a heavy workload I should not expect a reply for 24 hours from a human. Also due to the same workload call backs were not possible. I was checking the forum to see if others were reporting difficulties when I found the news of the extension. So again I say it is a decision taken in the light of another adminstration failure. Urinals and Breweries. Tony.

TRy sending your complaint and details to fanzone you do seem to get a more prompt reply.

Tony, send your email to Susan Whelan and if you can find an address to Top - either they don't give a monkeys or they just don't know how bad the online and phone service is - they need to know.
floppus Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 A quick update to my post above. I have recieved a human response from a person called 'Sales Centre' who informed me again that call backs were not possible and I should continue to use the telephone and that THIRTY requests for a call back had been declined TODAY. Also I sent a copy of my email to the Fanzone (customer services). This was returned undelivered as 'wrongly addressed' despite the address being double no treble checked and followed a click on the LCFC Contact Us list. Robot failure !
flowwolf Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 Just read this on Facebook; Desperate? Not many renewals? Just the club being generous? It gives them time to get rid of Perason who is now box office poison and get someone in who people will take a punt on it's that simple.
