DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 19 June 2013 Share Posted 19 June 2013 Vardy! A million quid down the drain. I don't blame him though. He was never nurtured through a sensible system, so to loan him out to a lower level club, could be a wise move. It would be nice if it works. Fox92 Posted 19 June 2013 Share Posted 19 June 2013 No. Why not? Vardy wasn't as bad as what people make out. At the start of the season, when Vardy played up front with Nugent, we played freeflowing-attacking football and looked good (even when we didn't win - Charlton and Blackburn for example). I'm not saying Vardy is better than Wood or Nugent, because he isn't, but he was wrote off far too quickly in my opinion, especially considering he just made a massive step from non-league! Vardy worked hard for the team and showed at times, such as Blackburn away, he can finish under pressure. I hope he gets another chance.
Dan LCFC Posted 19 June 2013 Share Posted 19 June 2013 Maybe Nigel's dyslexic and he thought he was signing Vydra? Class Jamie & Matej are only one letter out as well.
EcclesallOwl Posted 24 June 2013 Share Posted 24 June 2013 Rob Staton â€@robstaton3h You can rule out any move for Jamie Vardy on loan though. Nothing in that one. #SWFC
The Year Of The Fox Posted 24 June 2013 Share Posted 24 June 2013 Why the hell does their OS publish reports and rumours? Am I the only one that finds that odd? At least they publish something!
Bausor Posted 24 June 2013 Share Posted 24 June 2013 I think vardy started well and had he put some of those very good chances away maybe he could of gone on to score more goals, confidence and all that, Closes down well from the front too. A side who score goals for fun, with an ethos of balls to the wall attack, attack, attack? Zakuani? Don't know much about him, does he not play RB too? Grewks Posted 3 July 2013 Share Posted 3 July 2013 Posh would be the best club for vardy, they are a very good attacking side. Maybe we should also remember this when looking at Zakuani's record, their mantra is to score more than the opposition as oppose to concede less. FoxLAD Posted 3 July 2013 Share Posted 3 July 2013 i think this would be a good move, i rate Zakuani, mabey 1 million is a little pricey? and loaning Vardy to give him more game time is always good.
fleckneymike Posted 3 July 2013 Share Posted 3 July 2013 Zakuani is wrong age and wrong price so is a non starter. Why spend £1m and lose a player on loan? We'll be loaning in players and buying prem reserves (this isn't a criticism) not buying rivals players.
