Hover boots have been invented for years now but the government and oil companies don't want us to know about them .

You ever seen Bill Malone? Watched him live in Vegas and he was superb. Was absolutely mesmerised for half an hour.

This is brilliant.

i really like Dynamo , but is anyone else been watching Troy on E4 ? he just seems altogether a lot more charismatic and the tricks are very slick.

All the ladies seem to love him , you can practically see them getting tumescent .   I bet it's a different girl every night and  all eager to please

lucky booger !!

It seems like he just doing all the tricks Dynamo has done even the programme is set in a similar vain.

I prefer Dynamo tbh.

Some of the things Troy has been doing are ridiculous, but I cant make my mind up on him. At least he doesnt have that shit northern accent Dynamo has I suppose.

I've really been enjoying Troy! Just cant work out how he does it!

Agree with Zing as well! Very slick, proper smooth operator and really seems to turn the charm up to 11, you know hes smashing back doors in left, right and centre too!

There is always an explanation for everything. Magic isn't real. Its bloody good, don't get me wrong.

Guess at the gym bag, would be false back wall of the locker? The whole place is rigged with cameras, so rigging the lockers wouldn't be difficult.

That's why it's boring!! There is no skill involved in most of the "magic" you see, just a 20 strong team of people rigging it all up for the slightly urban, slightly black (but not too black) front man to waltz in and wave his hand about a bit.

As said above, slight of hand stuff I can enjoy, it takes real skill and not a special effects team 60 hours to create.

Too right.

All of the street stuff, is generally pretty decent, although, even some of that can be staged now. Card tricks rely on slight of hand, diversion etc and I love that.

Ever seen Masked Magician? That ruined everything after then, although most of his 'tricks' were quite outrageous.

agree to that, i've seen close up magic ( or conjuring) and i can assure you there is a massive amount of skill and practice involved

A mate of mine is a magician, decent standard too and it's unbelievable to watch at close quarters. If you keep switched on to the misdirection it gets a lot easier to spot.

Pissed me of to learn half the stuff I thought was slight of hand was still done through magnets and fishing line / elastic up the sleeve etc.

yes  :D it can be disappointing .when you find out .

i do like the new breed of magic shows such as dynamo and troy though . ok much of it is probably technical set up , but they must  still be very skilled and dexterous
