Buzzell Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Sick of this game now. Missed playoffs by 6 points! Got offered a new contract with no transfer kitty, a wage budget of 200k even thought we're spending £250k on wages and still the chairman expects me to sign big name players! How the fudge does he expect me to do that?! Moore, Drinkwater, James and Kasper now have one year remaining on their contracts and they all want to move to bigger clubs. Guess I'll be re-building!
Dan Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Sounds like I'm not the only one struggling which is sort of relieving... I think they've made it far too hard on this update. Gonna start a new game on 14.0 if possible.

This won't be it then. If this is the game you started when it came out then it won't be that. They updated it around December time and I think it's absolute turd myself. I'm yet to come across a single person who's done well since having that update.

I thought the updates were save-compatible. As in, they applied to any games you have running.

Beliall Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 how can you revert to the default update? i had no trouble with that at all, then thye updated it and made it impossible t oget a job, as well as screwed all our tactics, then they changed it again and it seems you need a new strategy every week. also, i installed some kits but not all are showing. sa national league about half the kits are missing but i have the files. cleared cache and reloaded but didnt fix it

About 10 players are out of contract, can't even give them a decent wage and he also wants me to sign high profile players. My chairman is a cvnt!

Out of both cups but still in the Champions League. I've got Marseille in the quarters who just knocked out Barca. This is for the taking. Won 3-0 and 4-3 to make the semis. Premier League is pretty much won, but Silva, Navas and Toure have conveniently been injured and will all miss the rest of the season it'd seem. Champions League last 4: Bayern v PSG City v Chelsea

Fox92 Posted 17 February 2014 Posted 17 February 2014 Top of the league, playing well, play Bournemouth away who are 19th and seriously lose to every team... I lose 6-0. I don't get this game at times. Still, just secured a play off place but should secure automatic promotion. Play Brighton (3rd) the game after the next which is massive.

I succeeded in getting promoted and in November I'm 4th with Leicester, James Knockaert Moore all starters. Kasper would be but I've signed Fraser Forster Oh and I signed Muzzy Izzet as a coach purely for nostalgic purposes

Started a new game with Dundee Utd. clearly have the second best team in the league.. yet i get hammered at home by St Mirren, Aberdeen and St Johnstone. But thrash Celtic away 0-7? it makes no sense.

Won Serie A comfortably, yet got knocked out of the Champions League in the group stages, somehow losing 3-0 at home to both Copenhagen and Basel. Moved to Ajax the next year and using the same formation finished 6th in the Eredivisie but reached the CL Final smashing Barcelona, Chelsea and Man City on the way. Makes perfect sense.

Clearly errors.I had one where my star striker wanted a new contract, I said I'd give him one at the end of the season to which I received positive discussion/feedback and the 'slght' abbreviation thing for unhappiness disappeared. Then every week he'd moan about not getting a new contract and his unhappiness would re-appear..... So I offered him a new contract and it went away...until the end of the season when he kicked off because I hadn't followed through with the promised end of season renewal? (When I'd already given him a new contract!!) A55555...hoooleeeee
