You can be forgiven for failing to notice that the Women's Euro Championship is currently on.

 

The idea that we might watch some matches because we want to see some decent football is, frankly, laughable. - since I still maintain that a world XI of the top womens players would lose to a team of eleven incarnations of Junior Lewis.

 

Mercifully, the days of all women footballers looking like Martin Castrogiovanni with a body wax and a wasp up his rectum are long gone. Now only some of them look like that; some of them are supersexy.
