linemakers Posted 19 July 2013 Posted 19 July 2013 Stoke are offering free away coach travel to all prem matches next season. Would the cost of this go on to FFP if not it would be good for Top and Co to offer this
LCFC FOX Posted 19 July 2013 Posted 19 July 2013 Amazing offer, would make a lot more sales as people can get there for cheap. I only wish we could have this
Jimothy Posted 19 July 2013 Posted 19 July 2013 This is are turn! Can you translate that to English please?
Babylon Posted 19 July 2013 Posted 19 July 2013 Would the cost of this go on to FFP if not it would be good for Top and Co to offer this Eh...? You would reduce the clubs income and in turn reduce what we have to spend.
SystonFox Posted 19 July 2013 Posted 19 July 2013 not just a nice gesture an incredible offer really. lets say they take 3,000 to Yanited on a sunday afternoon. 2,000 travel via coach? 70-80 per coach? thats 28 coaches minimum. now lets say they used to charge £15 minimum per seat thats £1,050 per coach. times that number by 28 and you get £29,400. admittedly its probably half a weeks wage for Peter Crouch but they are taking a hit that they didnt have to. all numbers are just speculative i am just talking rubbish really
Leicester Lass Posted 19 July 2013 Posted 19 July 2013 Not too difficult to achieve when you're guaranteed £60m+ from TV revenue though.
Corky Posted 19 July 2013 Posted 19 July 2013 Not too difficult to achieve when you're guaranteed £60m+ from TV revenue though. I can see that but when clubs are trying to squeeze every last bit of money out of their fans it's refreshing to see a gesture like this.
Leicester Lass Posted 19 July 2013 Posted 19 July 2013 I can see that but when clubs are trying to squeeze every last bit of money out of their fans it's refreshing to see a gesture like this. Completely agree. It's a great gesture, just not feasible for anybody in this league.
linemakers Posted 19 July 2013 Author Posted 19 July 2013 Eh...? You would reduce the clubs income and in turn reduce what we have to spend. That was what I was asking, if it didn't effect our ffp amount it would be good if it did leave well alone
Father Ted Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 Brilliant gesture from Stoke recognising the hits that away supporters take. Would be nice if LCFC did a reduced rate, say £10 so even then the loss wouldn't be too big but everybody would be happy.
