VLC86 Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 As above Taft and Cain looked class. I thought Larrauri looked decent as well when he came on
Walshy5 Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 Doesnt bode well for our future if we cant even beat this lot!
VLC86 Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 Doesnt bode well for our future if we cant even beat this lot! Yep because every player in the development squad will automatically be first teamers in the next few years right? Also, it's called pre season for a reason. Man Utd lost to Singha Allstars the other day
Father Ted Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 Can't wait to see Cain in the first team, can see him being well in the fold soon.
Callabinho Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 Only Taft stood out, Cain was okay but nothing special, Pierre looks lively and could have a good future in the game if given a chance. As for the rest of them I wasn't really that impressed, average at best.
Strokes Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 Doesnt bode well for our future if we cant even beat this lot!Behave you clown.
TrentFox Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 Young scored 18 goals in 9 games during his first pre season when he signed for leicester, the team went to sweden that year. Stringer asked Young if they used stickmen as defenders in sweden ahahahaha I vaguely remember that pre-season. I'm sure one of those games was against some Mickey Mouse non-league team where he scored about three hundred in a four million - nil hammering ? (Might have exaggerated there just the teensiest, weeensiest bit.)
Dan Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 Taft & Cain are a different class to the rest of the players in this team , both brilliant today Agreed. I genuinely think both deserve a crack at the first team, slowly but surely, I really do like this Cain. Larrauri didn't get a big chance but looked threatening whenever he did.
jock2612 Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 Taft & Cain are a different class to the rest of the players in this team , both brilliant today Agree 100%, Thought Smith in goal was solid
weller7 Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 Yeah the keeper Smith looks bigger & stronger this year
LCFC FOX Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 Was Sesay playing, I was impressed with him at Leamington

MattGamble92 Posted 21 July 2013 Posted 21 July 2013 I turned up to the match expecting at least a few first team players but oh well. Taft was by far the MOTM. Typical of Youngy to give it to someone else. Thought we should have had a penalty too on Larrauri (who the PA man constantly called larewrerewewooo). Decent game for a 0-0.
KFS Posted 21 July 2013 Posted 21 July 2013 Sesay has the physicality to play first team, Taft too. Only seen Cain once so I don't know much about him, looked ultra composed when I did.
