Does anybody remember the Duncan Ferguson spat with Mick Galloway, that carried on even after the final whistle, another game big Dunc got sent off against us.

Steve Walsh for me, didn't he get one of the longest bans at the time, broke somebodies jaw I think, and his and Steve bulls battles always gave the wolves matches that edge.

Yep, loved mickey Galloway. I think he got a serious injury in his next game and never played after that. My memory maybe thinks back too favourably of him but I seem to remember him being hard as f**k.

Yes was joking regarding Freund but Ferguson was and still probably is one hard mother fvcker. I can still clearly remember his spat with Galloway at Filbo. Loved it when Galloway scoffed at Ferguson as he departed the pitch down the tunnel.

Another hard man for me was Ali Mauchlen.

The man was made of steel.

Paul Ramsey (rambo)and Ali mauchlen were two tough players when I first started going down.

And then you had players that you would say we're tough like matt Elliot, Tony James but never really had discipline problems but you would hate to play against them.

In my time I don't think you'd get a harder back 3 than Walsh, Taggart & Elliot. U knew you'd never get bullied with those 3 in your team.

Walshy's tackle on Hopkins in the Palace final could of got him a prison sentence if anyone can remember? Also the elbow against Sutton.

Taggart would run through brick walls for his team.

Remember being told a story from one of the coaching staff about Elliott after we played Chelsea away once. He played upfront and Desailly gave him shit all game. After the final whistle Elliot charged into their dressing room ready to kill him and took on half the team to get at him. Desailly didn't want any of it!

I think it's a real shame that side of football has gone now. Too many fairies these days
