In my time I don't think you'd get a harder back 3 than Walsh, Taggart & Elliot. U knew you'd never get bullied with those 3 in your team.

Walshy's tackle on Hopkins in the Palace final could of got him a prison sentence if anyone can remember? Also the elbow against Sutton.

Taggart would run through brick walls for his team.

Remember being told a story from one of the coaching staff about Elliott after we played Chelsea away once. He played upfront and Desailly gave him shit all game. After the final whistle Elliot charged into their dressing room ready to kill him and took on half the team to get at him. Desailly didn't want any of it!

I think it's a real shame that side of football has gone now. Too many fairies these days

Didn't George Graham say 'running into the Leicester defence was like running into a brick wall'

lol I can remember Steve Walsh's tackle on Hopkins absolutely smashed him and I think Hopkins had to go off.

I think it was in the early 80s, i was sat on the wall near the dugouts and the opposing winger was going down the line and all of a sudden i heard what seemed like a red indian war cry and Bob Hazell slid in from about 10 yards away and took both ball and winger with him

Now he was a nasty Bas...d. Wouldnt mind him in my corner. I think he was only with us for 2 or 3 seasons

Ali mauchlen by far - played for Leicester for 6 months with a broken leg, only realised when he got a scan at the end of the season.  Played against him once and he kicked me all over the place for the whole 90mins.

Gerry taggert took no messiing either.

Also literally bumped into Frank sinclair once in a night club - thought i'd walked into a brick wall

Anyone remember Andy Feeley ? Always thought there was something slightly deranged about him. Good attribute for a defender .... and a bar-fighter !

Not having that, he got the ball and Hopkins squealed like a girl.

Yeah was it the opening match of the season? Gittens?

I think the victim's name was David Geddis. For me it would be Jari Rantenin on size alone. The club couldn't find one of those tight 80's kits to fit him!! For presence and attitude it would be Walshy all day though.

David Speedie was known to start a few fights in his day!

Of the ones mentioned - Taggart, Elliott, Walsh, Whitlow all win

Big Wes is a unit so him or kasper because he's a bit of a mentalist

Did anyone else notice Kasper do a karate style stance when the fans came on the pitch at Watford?

New to this shizz so apologies if it was mentioned somewhere before.
