Stand out games I went to- Chelsea in the 4-3 defeat in fact include the 1-0 win at villa in that too. Barnsley away the same season.

Cardiff in the playoffs for 10 mins was out of this world. That was the one game I've never felt prouder to be a Leicester fan in.

We talk about away ends going mental, you couldn't put that end into words as to how mental it was.

Norwich was amazing too as well as Forest in May

Chelsea 2007 Carling Cup.

Even though we lost 4-3 the atmosphere and the game was incredible.

Out sang the Chelsea fans and didn't stop singing all night.

Yeah that was amazing, probably my favourite away game ever, possibly one of my most proudest aswell, we really did play well, considering what shit we had in our team and what happened that season.

MK Dons away was pretty chaotic, last minute goal by Maxi Gradel, ending up about 3, 4 maybe ever 5 rows lower that my seat when we scored.

Infact that goes for alot of away games I went to in League One, I really did enjoy that season, I don't care what league we were in, it was a great, enjoyable season, going to some great grounds.

Peterborough away I have found is always a good away day too, love it, not sure how much i'll enjoy it without the terrace now though, tbh I like drinking around the area though.

Another pub convo about when you were most proud away from home (usually by looking at the faces of the away fans as we all pile in).....for me charlton away last game of season (when they were playing home games at west ham) I had heard 4000 which I didn't think would happen...I think it ended as 12 and they had to open the closed section of the ground...well city boys decided to open it themselves lol great day

Wow so many at different stages of my life its hard to compare, stoke away in playoffs was brilliant. All the wembley trips, wimbeldon, portsmouth & cambridge were all great. Chelsea in the fa cup, liverpool away win, beating united on their own patch. I just cant pick out one.

Barnsley with 6000 and the 4-1 West Brom win were my favourite in the relegation season. Southampton 12 came completely out of the blue aswell. Norwich was fantastic in the cup. So much injustice made for a great atmosphere and togetherness. The 2-0 at Derby with Yakubu's goal of the season and one of the best team goals i've seen is also a great memory. Clearly Forest last season is the daddy, being lucky enough to be there.

For me it has to be the Cardiff play off game. Living in Cardiff I left Leicester gutted after our one nil defeat in a mini bus full of Cardiff fans thinking they were home and dry. I went to the Cardiff game just hoping that we made a fight of it. Unbelievable noise from our end even after the shoot out when we applauded our boys while the Cardiff fans invaded the pitch. Very proud that night

Southend 2-1 win early nineties, two late goals for us cracking day.

Zenith Data semi-final at Notts County 2-1 win, when we scored the winner the camera man showed all the Leicester end celebrating, cannot remember how many we took, must have been 6000 plus.

Roosters late winner away at Blackburn was a fantastic day. We drove up in my old motor, the atmosphere in the City end was fantastic and Bobby Mimm's late error gifted Russell the goal.

Great memories..

Forest last season will be talked about for decades. Legendary stuff.

Also Wolverhampton wanderers just after Mcghee had left to go there, turned them over 3-2 iirc, a young Heskey getting a brace inc the winner.

Norwich away in the F.A cup. Had tickets for the stands but then Dads mate who worked in the hotel offered us a pitch view room as a bday present. Looking down on our fans when nuge scored was mental. Great day!

There's been so many but in recent years, Chelsea on halloween in 2007, Preston when we reached the play offs, Norwich and Forest are the stand out days for me.

Having said that, Torquay away last season was a good laugh as well!

Fulham, 1983, should be a game that makes anyone from Leicester proud. Don't know what the actual 'travelling attendance' was, (rumoured between 10-14k). Whatever it was it was great to be part of!!

Plenty of others too....one of my personal favourites was Pompey 2002, just after the 'administration' had become public. They were top of the league and flying. We were broke but went there and absolutely took them apart in the rain and 1500-2000 Foxes totally outsang them for the whole 90 mins despite being soaked to the skin in their crappy, uncovered, 'away' end!

I was at Fulham and it has rightly become legendary. I remember everyone laughing when their new but crappy electronic scoreboard put them 1-0 up after a disallowed goal. My favourite though is Anfield 1981 when we were playing one of the best teams that the world had seen, were bottom of the league and won!! It was one of my first away games and the first win.

I don't think anyone has mentioned Orient away last game of season May 1980. What a day that was. We took over 10k to see us win the 2nd division title. Painted the east end blue!

Jingle bells lustily sung.

V Orient 1979-80 season. I was a student at Portsmouth Poly. Went via train to London. My brother had got me a ticket and told me to go to the away end and wait outside to meet him there.

I got to near the ground and it appeared City fans were everywhere. A white transit van passed by back doors wide open with city fans hanging out the back, it was my mates with my brother driving.

I caught them up, they were pissdd out their heads ( not my brother though thankfully).

The game was a blur. But I remember the ground just appearing to be totally City. I don't know what the official numbers were but it looked like 13,000-15,000 City fans were there.

The atmosphere was amazing, and City fans wrecked the place with their sheer exuberance.

Many other great trips away, but that one really goes down as my best.

Forest last season, got a ticket at the last minute IN THE HOME END with 2 other lads, we just about contained ourselves for the first 2 goals but when knocky scored we jumped up ran down the stairs all the way down past the river up past the stand to the right of the away fans round our end and barged past a few coppers trying to stop a few other city fans trying to get in. Once we got in it was still going absolutely crazy! If anyone has the video of knockys goal will the post it please! Can't find it anywhere on iPad YouTube :(

The 4-4 draw at Spurs in 2004. It was live on sky sports, but a few of us went down on the Sunday, staying over in Watford the night before!!

Sitting in the away end upper tier, freezing, with hangovers....brill day out!!
