Maybes Posted 30 September 2013 Posted 30 September 2013 I think the best bits for me where when Gus Fring was kicking about with Walt trying to bring him down. Superb. One of the best TV shows I've ever seen.
Stadt Posted 1 October 2013 Posted 1 October 2013 I watched episode 9 to the finale tonight, the best TV show I've ever watched. I don't think I can complete Breaking Bad and GTA in the space of 2 days because I fear for my emotional well being.
chuck'em Posted 1 October 2013 Posted 1 October 2013 That was the ending that the show deserved. Panned out pretty much how I expected it to. No surprises were necessary in the finale, just a proper ending, which we got. Fantastic TV.
sdb Posted 1 October 2013 Posted 1 October 2013 Good ending to a great show. Little underwhelmed with the ending, not sure why, I think I just expected to be completely blown away and I wasn't, despite it being very good. I think the honest truth is that it should have ended at series 4. That series got tied up so perfectly that series 5 always felt slightly forced. Not that i'm complaining, it's been a blast. Gutted it's gone.
Ric Flair Posted 1 October 2013 Posted 1 October 2013 I've got about 5 episodes of the lasts eries to watch but I want to know the ending. Proper spoilers please, not these half arsed fanny ones. TELL ME WHAT HAPPENS!!!
GLC Posted 1 October 2013 Posted 1 October 2013 I've got about 5 episodes of the lasts eries to watch but I want to know the ending. Proper spoilers please, not these half arsed fanny ones. TELL ME WHAT HAPPENS!!! Everyone gets what they deserve. The White family get Walter's money after all, though they won't know it's from him, so their conscience is clean. Skyler is given a bargaining chip – the location of Hank's body – that should get her out of trouble with the DEA. Jesse is freed from his meth-lab prison. The Nazis are executed. Lydia, a repellent villain who orders mass murder with less warmth than she orders her camomile tea, gets the most unpleasant justice of all – a slow, lingering death from the hidden ricin. And Walter White dies saving Jesse. In the very last moments, Walter stumbles around the meth lab built to his specifications, fondly stroking a steel drum. Earlier, he has admitted to Skyler that he was not driven by the love of his family, but by the thrill of doing wrong. ("I liked it. I was good at it. It made me feel alive.") In the end, he has given Jesse freedom, Skyler innocence, Flynn money. He collapses

FoxesAreBlue Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 I'll be jumping on Netflix when it gets released a day later

Strokes Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Can't wait. Just finished my second run through of BB.I'm on series 4 of a second run through, I'm slowing as I don't want to finish it. what a twat.
Gary Eatfood Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Can't wait. Just finished my second run through of BB. I'm on series 4 of a second run through, I'm slowing as I don't want to finish it. what a twat. How long did you both wait before watching it again? It's been a year and I'm tempted.
Strokes Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 How long did you both wait before watching it again? It's been a year and I'm tempted. Not long, about 10 weeks.
VLC86 Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 So funny running through these spoilers. The last few episodes coincided with me moving house and having no Wifi so I sat in my car, in Maccy Ds carpark stealing their wifi to watch the penultimate episode . Cant wait for BCS.
MooseBreath Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Really looking forward to BCS. Probably too much, it feels destined to be an anti-climax and obviously won't provide me with the breaking bad fix that I'm really after. Hopefully it's good enough to standalone eventually though.
Libertine Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 How long did you both wait before watching it again? It's been a year and I'm tempted. About six months!
DB11 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 I'm considering starting it again. It's been a while (since whenever it happened)
Guest Kopfkino Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Just saw Better Call Saul. Bit of a slow start. It seemed to start out a little bit lost but the last 20 minutes were more like it. It was a solid enough start for me, the reviews that love it and rave about it are only doing so because of the BB connection and the reviews that say its lacking identity are a tad harsh
MooseBreath Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 I thought it was stylistically great but it was a slow start to the plot. Hopefully that's intentional and things are going to build nicely.
Libertine Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Yeh a bit slow but got better towards the end. Look forward to watching the second ep tonight.
Guest MattP Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Very good start to BCS. Love Tuco being back!
