The Year Of The Fox Posted 4 November 2013 Posted 4 November 2013 Gotta be the king Richard ..taxi for a quid ..cheese an onion cob for a quid ...lager for a ...well £3.20 ... Ill be in there early doors on Saturday though we'll be heading towards the ground before they start the minibus runs. I know the landlord quite well as I go to some England games with him.
Burmesefox Posted 4 November 2013 Posted 4 November 2013 Out of interest what is the F bar like. Still full of lads?
Fox_in_a_Box Posted 4 November 2013 Posted 4 November 2013 Oasis on narborough road mate it's opposite lost bar. Good atmosphere and you can grab a bite at munch munch before headin to the ground.
kylestyle06 Posted 4 November 2013 Posted 4 November 2013 Out of interest what is the F bar like. Still full of lads? F Bar is decent, and only a couple minutes walk from the ground.... never waiting too long for a drink either
Burmesefox Posted 4 November 2013 Posted 4 November 2013 F Bar is decent, and only a couple minutes walk from the ground.... never waiting too long for a drink either Is it still full of BS though? I have me young lad with me and hate most of the boozers around the ground.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 4 November 2013 Posted 4 November 2013 No its not usually full of BS. Could be different for Forest though anyone banned shouldnt be that close to the ground. Its the best place to go for a sing song first though.
skegness fox Posted 4 November 2013 Author Posted 4 November 2013 Not sure what to do now dont wanna be waiting ages for a beer so may do swan & rushes then the peel and round it off with the f bar although last time i went in there it was dead but it used to get rammed when it was turnstile (if i have right pub)
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 4 November 2013 Posted 4 November 2013 The Peel's been done up recently, meant to be alright by all accounts. Virtually next door to The Font which is never busy on matchdays despite being a really nice gaff, in all.
shilton_fox Posted 4 November 2013 Posted 4 November 2013 F bar has been rammed recently I dunno what the back room is like though.. Never ventured in there
NathanBlueFox Posted 4 November 2013 Posted 4 November 2013 Counting house near the ground is decent. Usually a good atmosphere in there pre match. Plus Bernie is always in there child friendly?
foxfanazer Posted 4 November 2013 Posted 4 November 2013 child friendly?Nah I wouldn't trust Bernie around Kids Counting house is child friendly
JonnyBoy Posted 5 November 2013 Posted 5 November 2013 just been given my pre match itinerary pub 1) The Globe pub 2) Criterion pub 3) Rutland and Derby pub 4) Kings head pub 5) Swan and Rushe roll on saturday, and me tripping up the stairs in sk1 most likely
Ash79 Posted 5 November 2013 Posted 5 November 2013 My old school wander was always Highcross, Polar bear, swan, peel and turnstile... One that I will be recreating aginst Milwall!
Guest Col city fan Posted 5 November 2013 Posted 5 November 2013 Gotta be the king Richard ..taxi for a quid ..cheese an onion cob for a quid ...lager for a ...well £3.20 ... We'll be in there after the game..

Dan Posted 5 November 2013 Posted 5 November 2013 Doing a pub crawl ourselves but no idea where we'll end up. Counting House is the best IMO, atmosphere can be quality. Can remember when we had Sheff Weds at home last year and it was full of both sets of fans, atmosphere was as good as any I remember in a pre-match pub.
