Rather than getting distracted, I think we need to address the real issue here Matt: why doesn't your son like football? What is wrong with him? Call yourself a father! What is wrong with you?

 

Is that why you sit in the family stand, so you can gaze at the other fathers there with their little boys and think about what might have been and wonder where you went wrong?

Why should a bloke get a better view at a cheaper price than me just because his son likes football and mine doesn't? It's unfair, just because you put a big 'Family Stand' logo on it and encourage families to sit there doesn't mean you should be allowed to treat people differently depending on their circumstances.

Why should you get a cheaper ticket than anyone in the kop with the same view?

 

The pricing structure is the pricing structure. It is there to encourage young fans who then move on to more expensive areas. If your son doesn't like football then that's tough, buy a full price ticket like the majority of others do.

 

The club can treat you exactly how they like.  If they offer incentives to encourage future fans that's up to them.

 

Your viewpoint comes from nothing but selfishness.

 

1. Well I'm not am I?, up until this week (it appears) any of those people in the Kop could buy a ticket next to me for the same price in the Family Stand with the same view. No one is forcing them until now to pay more for the same view.

 

2/3. Ironic. How selfish of me to sit in a seat for £22 every week in a stadium with 10,000 empty ones (and the family stand hasnt sold out all season) and then threaten me when it looks like we have a sell out coming up?

 

Least if they go through with all this they won't have to take my money for much longer.

Started with cheaper in the family stand and they don't make you buy a kids ticket.

Then ended with someone saying buy an adult and kids tickets then split the cost.

If you chat to the old boy that checks the tickets you can pass the adult one back for the other 3.

 

Or some shite like that.

They are the future of the club, let them sit in the kop or behind the dugout if they want with prices their parents can afford. I;m sure not every 14 year old wants to sit behind a goal with Filbert Fox in front.

If they charge all adults in there £29 that's fine. I don't see why bringing your kid should entitle you to a discount in a certain stand.

 

Charge the same for the standard of view on opoosite ends of the ground, then let kids go dirt cheap on all four sides to encourage parents bringing them and not effectively forcing them through price to sit on one area.

He's right , 200% right and then whine that the "club" has issues with them throwing sandwiches and standing, I was waiting for the flares to go off, they just seem to think that it all should be done to suit themselves and there justification is improving the atmosphere. Nothing to do with wanting to do a bit of old fashioned bear baiting.

Those that harp back to the good old days of standing really don't know what it was like, there may have been an over reaction by going to all seater staduim and there are fans who want to stand, but the way it's being done by those in N block will only result in one thing. And if you push it to far other areas that standing has been tolerated will be effected.

Something like U13's free through the whole ground would do more to sustain our long term fanbase as much as a family stand. Especially if there was enough of an atmosphere created to make even home defeats enjoyable.

I love standing but I do agree how many that go on about it where in pen2 when chelski came in.

Had coins batteries and darts thrown at them.

 

Not sure a lot of these seen the bad old days.

A lot of it was not a bunch of kids stood in the streets shouting come on then.

I'm still waiting for my apology for L1, where I had my ST the first season the club moved to the then Walkers Stadium, being turned into a 'singing section' without my consultation.

In a section loan adults should not be.

 

If the club sold 50 florist tickts around you on saturday you would be well pissed.

The club would be getting it right in the neck.

 

Over a period of time the ticket office has been very relaxed over this matter and should not have been.

They need to hold up there hands on that but you can't get pissed cos they are trying to put it right.

 

Look at the shite the club came in for when spurs fans got tickets in our end at wembly.
