Danno Posted 7 November 2013 Posted 7 November 2013 Silva. Irrelevant though, but I think Ozil is better than all of them.
Corky Posted 8 November 2013 Posted 8 November 2013 Cazorla (age 28) - 59 caps, 10 goals Silva (age 27) - 77 caps, 20 goals Mata (age 25) - 30 caps, 9 goals Silva also started the Euro 2008 final and the Euro 2012 final. Yes but, as we all know, appearances in PFA Team of the Year are the be all and end all.
Manwell Pablo Posted 8 November 2013 Posted 8 November 2013 Mata edges it for me, just more consistent at club level (when he actually gets to play)
Banks Posted 8 November 2013 Posted 8 November 2013 You could actually play all three in a 4-2-3-1. Frightening. Plus they also have Xavi, Xabi Alonso, Iniesta, and Javi Martinez all competing for that central midfield role in that side. Absolutely crazy.
David Guiza Posted 8 November 2013 Posted 8 November 2013 On current form I would have to say David Silva. Although, when we lost to Chelsea in the FA Cup, it was a pleasure to watch Juan Mata live, the bloke was a cut above without probably leaving 3rd gear for the time that he was on the pitch. He is clearly not a Mourinho type player however, mainly down to his work rate, and is suffering as a result. Cazorla I haven't seen live, but anytime I have seen him he's looked fantastic. Love a player who is always a positive, although there is a time and place for that (Knockaert being a prime example).
Pride_Of_The_Midlands Posted 8 November 2013 Posted 8 November 2013 Yes but, as we all know, appearances in PFA Team of the Year are the be all and end all. Not for foreign players since they haven't always been playing in the Premier League.
martyn Posted 9 November 2013 Posted 9 November 2013 Mata, Cazorla, Silva, Illaramendi, Fabregas, Iniesta, Xavi, Alonso,Martinez and Busquets - not many international sides have that level if quality in depth. Not to mention Arteta has never had an international cap. Not to Mention Isco
Stadt Posted 9 November 2013 Posted 9 November 2013 Not to Mention IscoYeah forgot about him, there is Thiago as well!
