Drum in the Kop?

Anyone reckon we should have a drum in the kop? Either keep the drum in L1 or swap it with the Kop? Just an idea...  :chant:  :scarf:

Throw in a few sex toys that should create some atmosphere and raise some heat.

I'd be happy for it to move to the Kop, since the atmosphere in there can't really get much worse, and for it not to be in L at all.

But it will never happen.

The best instrument at a football match is your own voice.

Learn the chants, sing them and the atmosphere will improve. We don't need a drum to initiate atmosphere all the time, just a few people singing.

It's not going to happen though is it?

Jobber once talked about on the football forum and from what he said he wasn't made that welcome apparently in the kop. I think really Jobber should be moved into the corner between the East Stand and the kop.

You mean the area where nobody sits?

Don't give me the argument that fans would move there because IMO they simply wouldn't.

L1 has took 10 years of building and the fans in the South Stand are stuck in their ways.

I Remember the days in the 80's of Milne,Pleat, And Little early 90's and others when we would sing in the pub, sing on the way to the ground and sing in the ground before during and after the game on the way out? Dint have a drum then and only had 10,000 at the games.Would make a louder noise than today. Didn't have or need a drum then! Stand proud and sing loud that's the answer to a great atmosphere.

He's in H1 for the Man City game, maybe that will bring the Kop and East Stand together!

H1 lol Bloody hell. You may have a point though.

Yes I heard this and with L1 being off limits we may see if the Kop can make a noise. However as others have indicated you just need more people learning the words to our songs and actually joining in and singing.

Can't everyone just bring in a pair of cymbals (failing that, a triangle, and failing that, a kazoo)?

Chuck in a few jaw harps and slide whistles for good measure

Everyone in the KOP should bring a pair of spoons and we can play them instead.

Just an idea, maybe we should swap the family stand and the kop

Sorry if someones already said this :/

This stopped being funny a long time ago. I see this comment every single day from someone.

Spoons, good idea. Cowbells, didgeridoos, party whistles, guiro, air horn, stylophones... Someone must have a gong knocking about.

All we know is that vuvuzelas don't cut the mustard, and many people are unhappy with the drum. If we create a complete wall of odd noises, people can pick out the one(/s) they enjoy and talk about how great it was after. The people who enjoy silence can bring earplugs, and everybody's happy
