Babylon Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 Good game to win : ). On a positive note, we're still near the top and will be brimming with confidence for Burnley and QPR! I just don't get how we go from pretty good to utter dogger. Crap performance again. What gives? The same reason Burnley and QPR dropped loads of points of late to let us back into the race, we're good but we aren't perfect. We aren't going to play well all the time. If the results carry on then I will worry then, as it is we just move onto the next game and try to improve. Hopefully without Hammond who seems to drain any tempo out of the team.
Guest Col city fan Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 But everyone knows you can't go 4-4-2 away from home!!! eh Col? When I last looked the score was still 3-1 bud.
JonnyBoy Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 1st, now down to 3rd with Burnley to play followed by QPR away then Reading. Ahhh exciting times
Guest Col city fan Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 Hahaahaa I know it doesn't work at all, look at Watford away when they took us to pieces and we sneakily did them 3-0 Weak argument. Watford are a poor side at present.
Babylon Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 When I last looked the score was still 3-1 bud. Yeah... with us not playing 4-4-2
Les-TA-Jon Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 When I last looked the score was still 3-1 bud. Look, I sound provocative, which is easy when you're online. But I'm not trying to be. Ric's comment just tickled me, when I thought of your obsession with that idea.
Kitchandro Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 I hate Leicester City, we are terrible. 3rd isn't good enough. I hate them and they are all crap and Pearson is crap. We'll probably be relegated now and need a new manager in the January break. That was all sarcasm. We showed great heart to try and come back and the harsh penalty knocked the wind out of us. Yes, it is tough to be two down but sometimes you have a blip. This is the best start to a season we have had forever. Keep the faith. Oh stfu. They don't deserve any credit today. The second half was all too little, too late. Pearson's attempts to change the match have been half-hearted. He should have made 2 changes before half time, and all 3 by the hour. A short spell of pressure in the second half doesn't mask the fact we were beaten by half time. You cannot give sides a head start. We've got exactly what we deserved today, and Nigel's got what he deserved. Terrible team selection and we've paid for it. Wasyl has been a disaster at right back and Hammond has obviously made no impression at all. Us having an off day is one thing but when we pick a team which has so many flaws you can't have any excuses when we lose. We'll hopefully bounce back but today has been very poor and I don't think any this 'great spirit' stuff is relevant. So we had a good spell for a short while, so what? Brighton had one for a lot longer than us. The least we should expect is a bit of pressure at some point in the match.
marko Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 When I last looked the score was still 3-1 bud. So does that mean we can go 4-4-2 then?
Rasmic123 Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 why couldnt we have played like this all game, knocky has to start next game
Guest Col city fan Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 Yeah... with us not playing 4-4-2 We've lost many many games away from home under Pearson with a 4-4-2 as you well know.
fleckneymike Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 We've lost many many games away from home under Pearson with a 4-4-2 as you well know. Charlton was 352, and shit.
Babylon Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 We've lost many many games away from home under Pearson with a 4-4-2 as you well know. And we've lost a few playing three in the middle as well.
Guest MarshallForEngland Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 Why can't people just argue about the football instead of starting every reply with some obscene insult or instruction to stfu?

Babylon Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 bit tired of hearing that Not as much as all the other teams in the league, who I'd imagine have heard it more than us, you know, with us being top before the game.
Les-TA-Jon Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 To be fair we've not gone longer than 1 game without a win, before today. I.e we've been very good at bouncing back!
lgfualol Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 #1 at choking that's for sure. So disappointed.
