Jon the Hat Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 I don't sympathise with any that are portrayed so I can see how people can assume all those claiming are the same. But you have to take a step back and think. No one assumes that Ken. The fact is we have a underclass who live like this, and it isn't hard to find. You are in denial if you think everyone is deserving and fallen on hard times through no fault of their own as much as someone who believes all people on benefits are represented here.
Jon the Hat Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 I'm the scrounger then? No you paid your NI for a lot of years. The triple lock is still wrong.
ADK Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 No one assumes that Ken. The fact is we have a underclass who live like this, and it isn't hard to find. They are in the minority though.
The God Emperor Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 They are in the minority though. I doubt that. I work in council properties all over Leicester and the majority of my customers seem to be like the people in this programe. they might be a minority, but its not a small one
Rincewind Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Not very clever though are they? Admitting to shoplifting on TV.
Jon the Hat Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Not very clever though are they? Admitting to shoplifting on TV.They don't care, that is the problem.
Webbo Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Not very clever though are they? Admitting to shoplifting on TV. Like the cops will do anything.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Its a bit early for party election broadcasts isnt it? Does anyone else think its a little one sided? How can it be when you're filming a street living on crack and heroin?
The Year Of The Fox Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Favourite quotes. 'Ive got qualifications coming out of my ears"- don't you mean heroin?- "im an FA qualified referee, well 5a side'
Rincewind Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 I think i'll give the next one a miss or my TV might be damaged.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 I think i'll give the next one a miss or my TV might be damaged. It's embarassing ain't it.
MooseBreath Posted 6 January 2014 Author Posted 6 January 2014 Looking forward to this living dolls programme now to get back to some relative normality
Rincewind Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 It's embarassing ain't it. Yes by how many people will be taken in by it. Now for a little balance read the DNO magazine. The link is in how was your day thread.
Unabomber Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Plus oneing this bitch, let's see what all the fuss is about.
Guest MattP Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 5 mins in and I'd already happily give the ok to just flatten the place and Iit's residents. Is there anything more sickening than someone pleading poverty whilst smoking, drinking and holding an smartphone? Yes by how many people will be taken in by it. Now for a little balance read the DNO magazine. The link is in how was your day thread. lol Yeah, they were all actors paid off by the Tory loving Channel 4
Unabomber Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Sorry is that bloke called Fungi? Or Funguy? This is wrecking my brain.
Dan Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Cringeworthy. This lot all need shooting multiple times but it's a shame that people who are genuinely looking for work will be tarred with the same brush. If a single penny is given to this lot again it really is disgraceful. Not that they'll need it.
I am Rod Hull Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 I`d rather cut my penis off with a rusty 16th century French bread knife than watch anything on Channel 4.
Guest MattP Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Certainly shows the Tories are doing something right when these lot are complaining their money has been stopped. What it says for Gordon Brown doesn't need to be expanded on.
purpleronnie Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Certainly shows the Tories are doing something right when these lot are complaining their money has been stopped. What it says for Gordon Brown doesn't need to be expanded on. And yet there's the other side of the coin where genuine claiments have had disability payments stopped.
Dan Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Looking forward to this living dolls programme now to get back to some relative normality If only. Looks like the kind of street you'd actually congratulate Al-Qaeda for bombing
