Reprinting Ticket when forgetting Season Card

Recommended Posts

At the start of the season i forgot my season ticket on matchday, so i went to the ticket office and was given a ticket for the game at the cost of £5. I was told i'd get this £5 back when producing my receipt and season ticket when i go back to the ground. Simple. Or so i thought....

Next game comes along and i go to the ticket office. The rude teenage girl quickly snaps "ITS NON REFUNDABLE". So i say i was told it was, 5 minutes later and the manager comes along and hands over my £5 straight away.

The same scenario happened again on friday after my mate shown his receipt. The worker was adamant it is non refundable and only after asking to speak to the manager did the worker come back and hand over the £5 (with no apology or anything).

This isnt just another dig at the club's customer service, i'm just wondering how many people have lost money this season or in past seasons by not following this up and getting the money back? Because i wouldnt never have questioned it if i wasn't told this earlier in the season. Yet it seems like every worker in the club shop doesnt know the policy!

How do you forget your season ticket though...

I agree the TO is awful. But still.

Good question also How did you get the ticket for £5 as I'm sure the dreaded T & C's state you pay full price for the ticket and to be refunded when receipt and season card are shown

I left my season ticket in the car and it wasn't long before kick off and seen as i'd parked in town i thought i'd be better off doing that.

And they check on the computer if you are a season ticket holder so it would be even more stupid for them to charge you full price.

i did that last season and they definitely charged me the full price and then refunded it when i called them the week after

I was charged the full price when my son had my ticket but ended up being away on business on the day. Got a full refund next game.

My niece left the season tickets in her flat in Watkin Road for the Forest game and it was too late to go back to get them so we had to get the tickets reprinted or miss the 1st half hour of the game ....... cost me a tenner which I was not happy about as I'd left them in the car a couple of season's back and did the full ticket price and refund thing then.

Refund was not mentioned this season, was just told it costs a fiver to get a reprint .......... wish I'd thought to ask now, seems very confusing when the staff don't seem to know!

Read the terms and conditions of your season ticket! It's all in there.

Had to do the same on Friday as I've misplaced (refuse to believe I've lost them yet) 4 season tickets, so paid £20 for tickets to be printed and was told that if I bring the tickets and receipt back with my season tickets then I will receive a refund.

Was a pleasant surprise to be honest as I wasn't expecting it.

it seems it doesn't matter what is written there as people are saying they are being charged £5 and some are being charged full price as stated in the T&C's

You are all idiots, i bought a ticket for leeds in august and i have never left, cheapest season ticket in the world.

Whilst you're there can you do something about the lighting. A couple of games ago it was shit ;)

To be fair it depends who you get ,, whether regular staff or rent a student.. First game of seasony lads season ticket didn't work and ticket office were fine.. Took me to front of queue, reprinted a paper ticket amd charged me nowt. ( it was the twats on the turnstiles I and several other's had problems with that day. They were the jobsworths.

Also took ticket stubs from awaygames id been to to be added to my points and had no hassle or Spanish inquisition.. The guy was fantastic. Like all workplaces you have muppets and ****wits and couldn't give a tossers.

Some of the ticket staff in there are absolutely useless. I've stood there telling them how to do their job a few times due to them not knowing the rules.

Will never forgive one twat in there though. An older member of staff promised me a Forest ticket last season after I'd explained to them my situation living in Newcastle and being unable to have anyway of getting through on the phone due to work, I phoned up to pay for it, and a younger member of staff he'd personally decided to sell the ticket that was saved. Ended up slamming the phone down on him I was so angry.

Thankfully managed to get a ticket through the club but it I'd have missed that game I'd have been so pissed.
