Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 If Yeovil scrape a point tomorrow & we lose 0-2 at Burnley (I've been dusting down the official ASS crystal ball for the run in) then those 100/1 odds won't be around for long! But we'd still be miles away from 3rd place
The Doctor Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 If Yeovil scrape a point tomorrow & we lose 0-2 at Burnley (I've been dusting down the official ASS crystal ball for the run in) then those 100/1 odds won't be around for long! Even if that happened we'd be at least 10 points clear of the play-offs with 21 to play for... It's not the conference you know - it's 3rd through 6th for play-offs, not 2nd through 5th.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 Burnley are the only team who can realistically catch us, last time I looked the top two go up... we need just 13 points from 10 games... you are crazy to even consider it. We have taken 45 points out of a possible 51 from the last 17 games. We would have to go through a worser run than last season to not make it
Guest MattP Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 If Yeovil scrape a point tomorrow & we lose 0-2 at Burnley (I've been dusting down the official ASS crystal ball for the run in) then those 100/1 odds won't be around for long! Even if that happened we're still easily on course to make it and with plenty of winnable home games still to come. Thanks for the prediction though I think that means we'll be ok.
Corky Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Really? At present we could afford to lose 6 games and still Derby/QPR would need to win pretty much every game to catch us. Just 100/1 is pretty poor. To put it another way - we're as far ahead of third as Huddersfield are from the final play-off spot, yet there are no odds on them making the play-offs now, they've been ruled out completely in the eyes of the bookies. Agreed, I'm usually the biggest pessimist with regards to the club but I can't see us throwing this away and combining that with a storming run from Wigan, QPR and Derby. I think we'll have two defeats at most and we are showing no signs of easing up or reverting to negative football, like last season.
Uncle Monty Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Can someone post the link i'm on 365 but can't find it.
Devonfox1884 Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 £1 on. We ARE going up-but a small insurance bet can't hurt.
Jimothy Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 What is it now? Just looked at oddschecker, no odds!
