Ric Flair Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Cardiff last season struggled massively towards the end but still did enough, they weren't losing which we seem to have similar qualities.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Atmosphere was crap last night, almost always is for a Tuesday night home game for some reason. Not helped by a load of part-timers and a poor display against a team in the relegation zone, clearly. I expect it in games like that though and it's worth it for games like Birmingham and Barnsley away. As an aside, apes are magnificent creatures and also a couple of blokes sat behind me spent all night going on and on about how well-organised Yeovil were. The odd comment is fine obviously but when you're practically commentating on the entire match it makes you want to Wasyl them.

Sounds about as annoying as the bloke who insists on calling all players by their full first names near me... and the two blokes who give a running commentary of what Stringer is saying on the radio.
Dan Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 The only way anyone could have said the support was the 'loudest in ages' was if they were a Yeovil fan. They were excellent for their numbers. Said it in another thread but the silence at times was almost eerie.

Well, Daniel, Jeffrey, Kasper, Westley and Christopher Grant need our support.

The whole ground aint just L1 buddy. Although I thought even they made a decent noise last night. If anyone thinks that Yeovil made more noise than we did last night then they've lost the plot. Really.

If people really think that the atmosphere last night was ok,I think we're well and truly doomed.
DennisNedry Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Tuesday nights are awful occasions in general. 9 times out of 10 were play poorly, and the atmosphere is always terrible. I hate night games.

Yeovil, for the small numbers they had, were very decent I thought.
Leicester1884Filbert Posted 27 March 2014 Posted 27 March 2014 did the people slagging our support off even go to the games, i am 15 and earn about £50 per week, 100% of that money goes on my season ticket, away ticket, spending money for the games, train fare ect, i very rarely get any spare for other things. i do not slag off my team at all, and any true fan would not, leave the fools to do what they want and let the real fans get on with it. COYB

MrSpaM Posted 27 March 2014 Posted 27 March 2014 I find it pretty ridiculous that people still criticise our support. Been to a lot of matches home and away this season, and our support has always been better than I hear at other grounds, our away support is second to none as well. Hearing people criticise our support at blackburn was absalutly baffling, not the greatest I've head but far from bad.

Col, could you answer Dan LCFC's question, please: 'What block are you in then?' I'm eager to know where is the place with the best home atmosphere inside the ground now...
Guest Col city fan Posted 27 March 2014 Posted 27 March 2014 Col, could you answer Dan LCFC's question, please: 'What block are you in then?' I'm eager to know where is the place with the best home atmosphere inside the ground now... Oh yes.. forgot I sit in the block right opposite the tunnel (can never remember the name of the stand). I'm on the front row cos I take my disabled mum (herself a life-long City supporter) so do the dutiful son thing. The block I'm in is itself rarely very loud but being central, you get the noise from L1 (and the away fans) in the right ear and the kop in the other. If I was a youth still, I'd deffo be in L1, as I was in SK1 back in the day.

COYB I applaud your commitment mate. When I was your age football was completely different, atmosphere was a given.I know them days are gone but just watching a game is a bit dull to me.I do slag our home vocal support cause it is what it is I'm afraid.
