Nugent I apologise for my past comments, Although I sill feel in my opinion at the time of writing they were justified, I said I'd be the first to put my hands up if I ended up being proved wrong, Here it is. I was wrong on nugent. He didn't suit his "new role" at first, and on his off days he was terrible, however now he's gelling even more with his role and the players, He's been absolutely electric. His link up play has got better and better, the penalties dried up but the goals kept coming, The assists kept coming, his work rate, kept coming. Thought he was outstanding against Wednesday Give him a contract for a season and I wish you all the best. Another quick one, to all of the fans on the forum, it's been a fun few years in the Pearson era, we have had debates, arguments, laughs and jokes, we may not agree on here, but I've got time for any of you. Scoobyrob Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 All season I've thought he was a good championship player at best. When he was in the premier league before he wasn't quite good enough. I've always thought that other than Vardy and Wood we would need 3 or 4 more strikers in the summer. But I too have changed my mind now. He's improved a lot and I think will be a key player next year and deserves probably a 2 year deal with a relegation clause if needed.
Fox92 Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 His link up play with Vardy is excellent, our best partnership. He turns up in the big games as well, the two Watford play off matches and Burnley last week etc.

To be fair mate I think the nugent stuff is probably one of the only things that me and other members have had a heated debate about... He's a more complete player now I would imagine and whether he is starting or coming off the bench I would expect him to be a big part of our attacking moves.
