huge flags like they have at Chelsea for the East stand what do you think.

Don't we already have these big flags in the centre circle before kick off?

I think it's an insult to fans that clubs employ these people to wave a flag around yet won't let those that actually want flags (and would happily design some) to have them in the crowd.

So for me the Club have one of two choices:

1) Allow all fans to have a flag (with one or two sticks) and wave them at their discretion

2) Remove all flag bearing sticks from the stadium on the grounds of health and safety. This includes the flags that the kids who do the guard of honour wave. For fvck sake won't someone think of the children?!

Thing is with Stamford Bridge, it's two tiers so the flags sort of drop down like they do at Old Trafford.

Still think Anfield looks quality when the Kop bring out all their flags.

Agree, because it's one the fans have made themselves. Not tinpot club made ones waved by people paid to do it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. People need to stop expecting the club to do everything for them when it comes to atmosphere and colour. That's our job.

Trouble with the kp is unlike chelski is where cud we put are flags only place I cud think is in the spare seats separating the away fans.

Wish the club would relax the bullshit safety issues regarding flags.

Fire certificate? What a load of bollocks.

And flag poles are apparently safe if they are club issued flags......

If I was allowed to wave a flag I would have one made within the week.

Ashley am I right in thinking you have a decent size flag that you took against Brighton? How much did that cost you?

Whatever happened to the Foxestalk flags?

I think Fez has it. If it was ok with everyone on here who contributed I wouldn't mind taking it to away games.

That's what it was bought for

Chelsea do it, Wednesday do it, Watford do it, Liverpool do it, club go on and tell you it's a fire hazard, load a shit. People are really starting to get annoyed with club now and how they treat fans.

I do agree with you, but when you get the club seemingly doing a lot to prevent it (my mates flag being taken off him for example) then it's no surprise to see people expecting more from the club.

I find it pretty ****ing sad that people actually enforce this fire safety certificate nonsense.

We took the Union FS flag to Burnley, together with its fire safety certificate and still had it confiscated.

If we ever extend the east stand it could be game on. The club will probably sell adverts for tampax  though.

Truly pathetic.

What a ****ing joke football really is at times. The English game needs a huge overhaul with some of the legislation because it's literally the sort of stuff you'd listen to for comedy.

What happend to the huge flags/banners that used to be passed around filbert street. Why did it stop?

Probably incase someone pulls a muscle in their arm whilst doing it or because people can't breathe for the few seconds it's over them. Or some other bollocks

Really is baffling at times. Did they give you a reason for doing so?
